Kefalonia, is the largest island among the seven that make up the archipelago of the Ionian Islands, or Heptanese, belonging to Greece. Located in the south of the island of Léucade, in its 904 square kilometers it offers beautiful mountainous landscapes and idyllic beaches that make it a true paradise, a destination for lovers of sun, nature and good food. Its rugged terrain is home to unique treasures, such as the famous Myrtos beach, one of the 30 most beautiful in the world, Antisamo beach, near the city of Sami, and the small bay of Assos. The island also has a number of caves and coves, such as the Grotta delle Nymphs on Lake Melissani. Spectacular!
