At the prearranged time, departure from hotel for sightseeing tour of the city, reaching the heart of this cosmopolitan capital and discovering some of its most significant landmarks such as the Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada, the Cabildo and the Cathedral, its main avenues, Avenida de Mayo, Calle Florida and Plaza San Martin, as well as its famous neighbourhoods such as La Boca, San Telmo, Palermo and Recoleta, each with their own unique features and marked contrasts, from modern and residential to older and more colourful. Buenos Aires - Trelew - Puerto Madryn

Morning at your leisure until the prearranged time for airport transfer to catch the flight to Trelew, a major commercial and industrial hub, as it is the main focal point in the country for textile and wool production. Arrival, assistance and transfer to hotel in Puerto Madryn. Check-in and rest of afternoon at your leisure. Depending on the season, you can enjoy different activities. From September to March, for example, you can set out directly from Trelew Airport to visit the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in South America. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Puerto Madryn - Valdes Peninsula - Puerto Madryn

Breakfast at hotel and departure to the major ocean reserve of Valdés Peninsula, a meeting point for colonies of fascinating seals and sea lions. The journey takes in an extensive tour of the peninsula. The tour begins in the city of Puerto Madryn, taking the provincial road that leads directly to Istmo Ameghino, where you can visit the Interpretation Centre. Onward journey towards the village of Puerto Pirámides, departure harbour for whale-watching boats (that set sail from June to November), orcas dolphins and other large cetaceans. Spotting one of them, specially whales, from a boat and sailing beside them is a unique experience (not included excursion). Their leaps, moves and water blows are a natural showcase difficult to forget. Valdés Peninsula welcomes the largest breeding population of southern right whales, thereby is one of the top destinations for spotting large cetaceans. Reproductive-aged females return to this area every three years in search of calm and safe waters to give birth. Males visit these shores every year in search of new females, so this coastline is listed as the most important whale mating area in the southern hemisphere. After the tour, return to Puerto Madryn. Overnight stay.

But there are also many other activities, such as hiking, horse-riding or off-road driving, to tempt the visitor into further exploring the countryside and wildlife of this region. And, of course, it goes without saying that savouring the local cuisine is another must-do activity.

Breakfast at hotel and departure to visit the Argentinian side of the falls using a network of walkways, paths and an ecological train running through the mist-shrouded rainforest. Arrival at viewpoint, located about 50 metres from the water, to experience the majestic and spectacular Devil's Throat, the largest of around 275 waterfalls that, together, make up the Iguazú Falls. The Iguazú National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the preservation and universal dissemination of its natural outstanding importance. Near the falls is the city of Puerto Iguazú, located at the confluence of the Iguazú and Paraná rivers and the site of the triple frontier between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. After the visit, return to the hotel. Afternoon free, with the option (not included) of a fascinating boat trip to the base of the waterfalls, crossing through the rainforest on the way back. Return to hotel.

- Triple rooms in Argentina are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.
- Please check with your international vaccination centre about the recommended healthcare measures in Argentina.
- Check-in time at the hotel on the day of arrival depends on each establishment, but in no case will it be before 3:00 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.
- Excursions are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
- To go on the optional scheduled excursion to the penguin colony in Punta Tombo, your flight needs to arrive in Trelew before 8.00 am or your private transfer needs to arrive before 12.00 noon.
