This trip will take you through Uganda's amazing national parks to see some of the highlights of the country's wildlife. These include tracking gorillas, chimpanzees and rhinos and safaris in search of animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, antelopes and zebras. There will also be fantastic boat cruises to see more wildlife and birds or just to relax, sunbathe and enjoy the scenery. Experiences such as a visit to the Bahima cattle ranchers or a coffee farm. Entebbe - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Murchison Falls National Park
Full-board basis. Early departure for the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a highly successful conservation project. Ziwa is the only place to see rhinos in Uganda. There will be a nature walk to track the rhino and observe its behaviour. Departure to Murchison Falls National Park where you will see the falls from the top. These are among the mightiest waterfalls in the world, as the Nile River plunges almost 50m through a narrow gorge. After the visit, transfer to the accommodation.
Murchison Falls National Park
Full-board basis. Morning safari in search of elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe, oribi, warthog, hyena, jackal and many of the resident and visiting birds. Afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to see more wildlife on a boat ride on the Nile, observing animals such as hippos, crocodiles and buffalo along the banks of the river. At the end of the tour, return journey and accommodation.
Murchison Falls National Park - Lake Alberto
Full-board basis. Departure aboard a boat of a local fisherman to Lake Alberto. This is not only an opportunity to see more wildlife, birds and landscapes, but also to get an insight into the life of the local community. You'll stop at a fishing village on Lake Alberto and from there continue to your accommodation, enjoying views of the lake and the Congo Blue Mountains in the distance. Dinner will take place on the mountain to watch the sunset in this beautiful place. Accommodation.
Lake Alberto - Kibale National Park
Full-board basis. Departure to Kibale National Park via tea plantations, forests, villages and hamlets. In the late afternoon, you'll take a nature walk in the community managed wetlands knowing that your payment is contributing to community projects in areas such as health care, education and livelihood support. If you are lucky, you should see many birds and several primates such as the black and white colobus monkey or the olive baboon. After the walk, transfer to the accommodation.
Kibale National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Breakfast. Departure to the rain forest in search of chimpanzees. Enjoy the flora, fauna and sounds of the jungle and watch the chimpanzees as they groom, eat and even sleep. These primates share 98% of human DNA and are intelligent, fascinating and entertaining to watch. After lunch, you'll drive through the picturesque Crater Lakes region to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a savannah park located in the legendary Albertine Rift Valley. Upon arrival, dinner and overnight stay.

Full-board basis. Safari in search of collared lions and other big cats to learn all about them from local experts who monitor their behaviour, population and habitat. Many other wild animals can also be seen along the way. Afterwards, it's time to relax on a boat ride on the Kazinga Canal, which links Lakes George and Edward, during which you will see hippos, elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, various antelopes and many tropical birds along the riverbanks. At the end of the tour, return journey and accommodation.
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Lake Mutanda
Full-board basis. Departure to Lake Mutanda. This trip will take you to the Gorilla Highlands, the beautiful region surrounding the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where there are many beautiful lakes and a chain of volcanoes stretching into the distance. Arrival and canoe ride to explore the lake and the small islands it contains. At the end of the tour, return journey and accommodation.
Lake Mutanda - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - Lake Mutanda
Breakfast. Walking trip through the park in search of gorillas. Once the gorilla family is found, they can be observed playing, eating and petting each other. Who knows what behaviour you'll see that day, but it is sure to be an exciting adventure. Picnic lunch. At the end of the experience, return to your accommodation to unwind. Dinner and overnight stay.
Lake Mutanda - Mgahinga Gorilla National Park - Lake Mutanda
Full-board basis. Depart for Mgahinga Gorilla National Park to meet the Batwa tribesmen, known as the "guardians of the forests", who will take you through the forest to show you how they built shelters, made fires, hunted animals, collected water, used medicinal plants etc. Afterwards, a visit to the incredible underground caves and finally a traditional dance show. At the end of the experience, return to your accommodation.
Lake Mutanda - Lake Mburo National Park
Full-board basis. Depart for Lake Mburo National Park, home to giraffes, impalas, zebras, eland, Uganda kob, leopards and many more species. You will be able to see birds and wonderfully picturesque places during the safari on special trails through the forest, savannah and lake. Return journey and overnight stay.
Lake Mburo National Park
In the morning, we hike to see the animals up close and see some of the things you wouldn't see from the vehicle, such as animal tracks, nests and waterholes. Brunch. Afterwards, you can choose to relax or go on another safari. In the late afternoon, visit the Bahima herdsmen to learn about their Ankole Longhorn cattle and the associated culture that revolves around them. After the visit, return journey, dinner and accommodation.
Lake Mburo National Park - Entebbe
Full-board basis. Departure to the Rakai district to visit a local coffee factory where you can learn how coffee is grown, processed and roasted and of course taste a cup. Other farming activities, such as herb gardens, matooke trees and the biogas initiative that powers the kitchen, will also be featured. Onward journey to Entebbe with a stop en route at the equator to buy some souvenirs and take photographs with one foot in each hemisphere. Arrival and overnight stay.
Entebbe - City of origin
Breakfast. In the morning, take a boat ride through the wetlands of Mabamba in search of the famous Shoebill. Relax and enjoy this beautiful setting while watching the birds that have made it their home. Lunch, depending on the time of the return flight. Transfer to the airport. Flight with destination the city of origin. Arrival. End of the trip and our services.

Important remarks
- Please check with your international vaccination centre about the recommended healthcare measures in Uganda.
- Uganda is a Muslim country and the month of Ramadan is of major significance to its residents. During Ramadan, entertainment and alcohol will be restricted in most of the country. The sale of alcohol will be restricted in many places, although some establishments will offer alcohol for sale to tourists. During this period, local businesses may also have shorter opening hours.
- Triple rooms in Africa are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.
- Making the trek to see mountain gorillas requires a good level of physical fitness.
- We recommend you carry in your luggage: a lightweight backpack for trekking, waterproof mountain boots, gloves to protect yourself from thorny vegetation, trousers, jacket or poncho with waterproof hat or hood, water bottle or flask, sweatshirt or jersey, sun protection and insect protection.
- Due to the access restrictions to the area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, it is possible (depending on the demand according to dates) that the itinerary to trek the gorillas be changed.
- The order of the itinerary may be altered for logistical reasons, without prior notice, but no scheduled trips will be cancelled (except in the case that adverse weather conditions prevent its realisation).
- A credit card is considered a guarantee, so sometimes you will need one for check-in at hotels.
