Masai Mara - Mount Longonot National Park - Lake Naivasha

Breakfast. Departure to Mount Longonot National Park, with its dormant volcano. Arrival and walking tour to the edge of the crater to see its caldera and the forest inside. It's also a great place to admire the Great Rift Valley from. Picnic lunch. Onward journey to Lake Naivasha. Arrival, dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha - Hell's Gate National Park - Lake Naivasha

Breakfast. Departure to Hell's Gate National Park, famous for its gorge on basalt cliffs and for inspiring the film "The Lion King". We'll take a walking tour of this park, getting to see zebras, giraffes and buffalos, among other species of antelope. Return journey to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon, boat ride on the lake. We'll then visit Elsamere, the former home of the original 'lion whisperers', for a tea and an insight into their fascinating lives. Return to the camp, dinner, and overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha - Arusha

Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Sunrise departure for the last safari through Serengeti National Park, returning to the camp at noon for brunch. Afterwards, departure to the extinct volcano of Ngorongoro. Along the way, members of the Maasai tribe can be seen with their cattle. Today we'll be camping on a campsite perched on the rim of the crater, with breathtaking views of the caldera. Dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro - Mto Wa Mbu

Breakfast. At dawn, we'll head into the crater in 4x4 vehicles for a safari inside. Back to the camp for lunch. Afterwards, we'll head to a Maasai village where we'll be spending the night. In the afternoon, we'll visit another village with a Maasai guide to learn about their way of life, their culture, and how they're integrating into the modern world. Dinner and overnight stay.

Mto Wa Mbu - Arusha

- Please check with your international vaccination centre about the recommended healthcare measures in Kenya.

- Please bring soft suitcases for transport reasons to Kenya. Hard-sided suitcases are not allowed.

- It is recommended to avoid storing belongings in plastic bags both in checked bags and in hand luggage before flying to Kenya. In this country you can not introduce any type of plastic bag. Failure to comply with the law can lead to fines and up to two years in jail.

- Triple rooms in Africa are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.

- The tour starts at the Hotel La Mada at 6.00 pm. Address: Thika Road, Nairobi.

- It is mandatory to complete and sign a registration, compensation and liability waiver document before departure.

- Travel insurance with a suggested minimum coverage of $60,000 is required to take part in the trip. This travel insurance must include, among others, the following benefits: coverage for personal accidents, including death by accident; emergency medical assistance, including rescue expenses; emergency transport or repatriation costs; legal assistance; assistance for the recovery or replacement of lost documents; organisation of trips and emergency accommodation; and interruption or cancellation of the trip.

- Travellers must ensure that they're in good enough physical and mental health to take part in the trip and the associated activities.

- This is a collaborative tour in which all members of the group must help with preparing food, washing dishes, cleaning the truck, setting up/taking down the camp, and other daily tasks.

- Luggage is limited to one large bag (sports bag or internal frame backpack) with a maximum weight of 15 kg and one small handheld bag or camera bag per person. Hard shell suitcases are not recommended as they may not fit in the truck compartments. A lock to close bags in the compartment is recommended.

- Travellers must bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and towels. A blow-up mattress is also recommended.

- Small groups of up to 16 people.

- Tips of around €10 for the guide, €3 for local guides, and €10 for camp/accommodation staff per person per day are recommended.
