Kruger Park

Johannesburg - Mpumalanga - Kruger Park zone

Includes: BreakfastDinner
Breakfast. Early departure to Kruger Park via Mpumalanga, a region located in the northwest of South Africa and which boasts some of the most fascinating natural wonders of the world, making it one of the most popular destinations in the country. This region also has a great diversity of landscapes and wildlife, as well as some outstanding - and highly recommended - retreats. We'll visit breathtakingly beautiful places such as Bourke's Luck Potholes in the Blyde River Canyon (time and weather permitting). Lunch at your leisure. Arrival in the afternoon to Kruger Park, just in time to freshen up before dinner. Dinner (included) and overnight stay.
Kruger Park

Kruger Park zone

Includes: BreakfastDinner
Picnic-style breakfast. Full-day safari in Kruger National Park in an open 4x4 vehicle. This is one of the most famous nature parks in the world, one of the largest in Southern Africa and one of the oldest in the whole of Africa, soon to mark a century since its creation. Here you can see the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and rhinos), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, all kinds of antelope and a host of smaller animals. The park covers 350 km2 along the border with Mozambique. There are around 2,000 km of roads inside the reserve. Lunch at your leisure. Return to hotel in the afternoon. Dinner (included) and overnight stay. Please note: the hotel will provide picnic boxes with breakfast because the estimated departure time for this activity is 5.30 am (approximately). Lunch (not included) is at one of the camps inside the park, where you can choose to eat at a restaurant or a cafe.

Kruger Park zone - Pretoria - Johannesburg - Cape Town

Includes: Breakfast
Drive to Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa and home to several higher education institutions. Sightseeing tour of this city of wide boulevards lined with jacaranda trees. We'll stop at Church Square, the hub of the city, and the Union Building, from where Nelson Mandela led his presidency. This was the masterpiece of British architect Herbert Baker, who also designed many other public buildings in South Africa. (The visit does not include admission to the site, but we'll see it from outside). Lunch at your leisure. Arrival in Johannesburg and transfer to airport for flight to Cape Town. Arrival in Cape Town and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.
Cape Town

Cape Town

Includes: BreakfastLunch
Excursion (included) to the Cape Peninsula, a spectacular drive where you'll see one of the floral kingdoms of the world and a wide range of fauna. We'll follow the coastline of the peninsula and stop off regularly for photo opportunities. You'll also have the chance to see the point where two major currents meet, hugely influencing the temperature of two of our planet's oceans (Atlantic and Indian). The first stop will be at Hout Bay (Wood Bay), where you'll set off on a mini-cruise to an island inhabited by a colony of seals. Then we'll pass through Chapman's Peak (weather permitting) en route to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where you'll have the option of taking the funicular (ticket NOT included) up to the old lighthouse and admiring the views of the famous False Bay. You'll also visit Simon's Town, the South African Navy's largest naval base and home to the famous colony of African penguins, a species that is in serious danger of extinction. En route back to the hotel, time permitting, a stroll around the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden. Lunch included. Return to hotel and overnight stay.
Cape Town

Cape Town

Includes: Breakfast
Day at your leisure to explore the city at your own pace. We suggest, weather permitting, the cable car ride to Table Mountain, where you'll have the chance to admire the stunning views over the city and the bay. Other recommended attractions include the picturesque Bo Kaap neighbourhood, St. George's Cathedral, Company's Garden, the Grand Parade, the Old Town House and the Castle of Good Hope. Overnight stay.
Oudtshoorn

Cape Town - Oudtshoorn (Garden Route)

Includes: BreakfastLunch
We'll leave Cape Town in the morning to set out on the Garden Route, one of the natural wonders of South Africa. Journey along the R62 road via Worcester and Montagu towards Oudtshoorn, a town that is historically linked with breeding ostriches, birds that were once on the verge of extinction due to the use of their feathers in royal houses across Europe. Ostrich farms started to appear in this area in the 19th century, giving rise to a well-off society which liked to display its wealth in opulent stone palaces. En route there'll be a stop at Cango Caves, one of the natural wonders of Africa, famous for their fascinating underground world of stalactites and stalagmites, as well as a spectacular frozen waterfall. Light lunch (included), followed by an entertaining tour of an ostrich farm and then transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.
Knysna

Oudtshoorn - Knysna (Garden Route)

Includes: Breakfast
Breakfast at hotel. Flight to Tsitsikamma National Park, the world's largest marine reserve and flanked by lush forests. Shoreside you'll see monkeys and antelopes, while the waters are home to otters, seals and dolphins. Onward journey to Knysna, a beautiful town located on the banks of a lagoon that opens out between two majestic stone cliffs, one of the jewels of the Garden Route. Overnight stay.

Important remarks

- The baggage allowance on domestic flights of most airlines in India is usually 15 kg per person, so lower than on international flights. Please take account of this when packing your bags.

- Triple rooms in Africa are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.

- Check-in time at the hotel on the day of arrival depends on each establishment, but in no case will it be before 3:00 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.

- The safaris take place in an open 4x4 vehicle with a guide. If there are more than 9 people, the guide will take turns between the different vehicles.

- It is customary to tip the driver and the guide.

- Children under the age of 8 can not go on the Kruger Park tour.

- The order of the itinerary may be altered for logistical reasons, without prior notice, but no scheduled trips will be cancelled (except in the case that adverse weather conditions prevent its realisation).

- A credit card is considered a guarantee, so sometimes you will need one for check-in at hotels.

- Prices are calculated based on admission fees to the sights as of the date of publication. If there is an increase in these prices, you will be promptly informed.

- If you are a person with reduced mobility, please contact us to confirm the suitability of the trip.

- Consult the necessary documentation to enter the destinations visited and for transit in the countries where air stopovers are made.
