Starlet Hotel was a short walk to the beach. It is in the middle of good shops & restaurants. The hotel staff is really friendly & helpful. They allow you to sign out one beach towel per person a day. They also helped us book our sleeper train ticket from Nha Trang to Hue. They called the station for us & the ticket was delivered to the front desk. Wifi does not work in the room-at all! We found ourself in the reception area often when having to message family & friends, book the next part of our trip & research the area. The room was clean & comfortable with strong air con & hot water. The tub had a bit of rust all around the outside, so while it was nice to have a tub, we did not utilize it due to that fact. There were several Russians that were not nice to the staff at all, like down right rude, but they kept their cool, remained calm & kind. The breakfast in the morning is ok, the usual buffet style food. The staff however at breakfast is fantastic! The woman who runs the show is great & she has the best customer service !

“good hotel and great value for money”

location, quick and uncomplicated check in and check out, you can pay by card at no additional cost, room cleaning. does the hotel provide beach towel negative point: the bed little uncomfortable, at least for me, as I like a harder mattress.

“Clean comfy but better options ”

Hotel staff are very friendly and provided us with a free upgrade. Rooms are very clean and we had a balcony. Very noisy from the street pubs and the breakfast buffet is ok but not great. Not too many options very Chinese and European focused. Over all ok stay.

Our stay here was booked as part of a tour group with Asia Vacation Group/Webjet. It was a disappointment, and I did also relay our disappointment in my feedback to Webjet. I don't wish to be unfair to the hotel as I realise it is a three star property, so expectations need to be lowered. Our room (Room 703) had no balcony, though some of the rooms do.The room was clean and good quality linen is used. The hotel also supply plenty of toiletries.The airconditioner in the room was noisy, but that became white noise compared to the beeping of traffic outside. We had a decent sized room with one queen and one single bed. The bathroom is dated but the hotel is three star rating, so I assume this is reflected in its price (I dont know the cost we paid as it was booked as part of a tour). Good breakfast options with omelets made to order etc. Staff very friendly and obliging. Hotel supplied towels for swimming - just sign out at reception. Hotel pool area is very small and sandwiched between the concrete walls of its own and next door buildings. Two sunbeds and a cafe table & chair set the only furniture there. They also allow smoking out there which isn't pleasant for non- smokers. As soon as you step into the reception on arrival, you'll smell the strong odour of chlorine. Rooms on floors 12 & 14 are large rooms with good sized balconies. We didn't have a choice as part of a tour group, but if you are booking your Nha Trang accomodation yourself, I'd recommend paying more and staying in the area further along the Nha Trang Beach strip somewhere between Novotel Hotel and Intercontinental Hotel. it is a much nice area, closer to the beach and will make your stay in Nha Trang more enjoyable.
