Stayed here for 13 nights and loved it. Do not expect a new hotel ..... but do expect top notch staff, housekeeping, location, and size of apartment. Room 1010 is a 2 bedroomed apartment (1000 sqf) with everything you need. I always had the gym, the pool and the steam room to myself and absolutely loved it. Towels not new and that is the only thing that I didn't like. The hotel is very safe and it is a bargain for what you get.

This is one of the BEST SOMERSET ASCOTT experience I had stayed with regionally be it CN/PH/TH. I can personally attest to that. Always my top choice for VN HCM. The Front Desk Team (Chloe, Windy, Jannie, Karen, Ken, Kent, Lunar) have always been very passionate, and customer oriented be it on a routine request for a change of room, storage of luggage or even as requesting for a late checkout to be accommodated. Their smile to any situation can brighten up the atmosphere and you know you can count on them to assist in any reasonable requests. Most importantly, they will make u feel at home just like you had never step out of your comfort zone away from home. They even celebrated my bd that surprised me with such customized experience with a cake, shuttle to airport and photos with the team with a very hospital and friendly Ascott Host (Annie). Attentive to details were also noticed as I was once late for my dinner but it was raining heavily, the front desk team took notice and shared the brolly immediately without me having to return to my unit which was on a high floor which means i will have to let my grab car waiting if I was to return back to fetch it. Even the security guard make an effort to address you by your name and that goes a long way to being personalized for guest coming in for a stay after a long day be it on a plane/ride from work. Overall, highly recommended to stay when you are in HCM for work or holiday. Location was idea (Plenty of food choices nearby), breakfast was good and top notch exceptional service that will render any assistance to make your stay a pleasant and second to home whenever you are travelling from. Please note this is not a Paid Review but genuinely from the bottom of my heart as a satisfied guest whom stayed with them and experienced their warm hospitality from Somerset Chancellor Court Team.

We had a great stay! The service was excellent, from the cleaning staff to the front desk—especially Windy, who was sweet and very efficient. The room was spacious, perfect for business travel with family, and our kids loved the small indoor playground. One of the best parts was the location—so many delicious restaurants within walking distance, and a supermarket right at the door, so you’ll never go hungry! A couple of downsides: the rooms aren’t very soundproof, so we could still hear traffic and music, even on the 12th floor. Also, there’s no pool for kids, and the room had limited views. But considering the service and overall value for money, we’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely 9 night stay at Somerset Chancellor Court. We booked a two-bedroom room in very last minute, but were peasently surprised. The room was very spaceous with large livingroom, full size kitchen and big balcony. Outdoor pool was nice and gym well equipt for a hotel gym. The staff was very friendly and helpful all around the hotel. The premises has a bit of ware and tear showing and could use a fresh coat of paint, but it is still very clean and feels very warm and welcoming. I’m looking for staying here again when in HCMC.
