“High quality hotel in central location”
We stayed in a Family Governor suite as a family of 3 (parents & adult child) in January. The room suited us with 2 bedrooms, one with ensuite & another with separate bathroom, & a sitting room. We stayed in a Family Governor suite as a family of 3 (parents & adult child) in January. The room suited us with 2 bedrooms, one with ensuite & another with separate bathroom, & a sitting room. The room faced Nguyen Hue St however so was sometimes very noisy into the night. It's the third time I've stayed at the Rex since December 2024. It's an older hotel with a homey feel which I like, and the staff are courteous & helpful. I have stayed in a premium room in the west wing which had an internal view of the hotel but was quiet. The hotel location is ideal for visitors, being within walking distance of the Vincom and Saigon Centre shopping centres and Ben Thanh market.

January 2025 A truly fantastic hotel located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City! We stayed at the Rex Hotel for five separate 4-day periods during our 6-week trip to Vietnam. The hotel offers a pleasant ambiance, excellent staff and services, and a delightful breakfast buffet. Here are some highlights from our experience: • Outstanding Staff: The friendly and supportive team left a lasting impression with their kindness, politeness, and attentiveness. • Exceptional Breakfast Buffet: The buffet is spacious and offers a wide variety of high-quality food to suit all taste. The attentive waiting staff further enhances the good morning breakfast experience. • Thoughtfully Designed Rooms: Our spacious room was comfortable and well-designed, providing a relaxing retreat after busy days. • Prime Location: The Rex is surrounded by high-end fashion stores, with numerous shopping centers, restaurants, and convenience stores just a few short blocks away. Additionally, the nearby Walking Street is the hub of cultural activities every weekend, offering a lively and enriching experience. We are truly grateful to the entire Rex Hotel team for making our stay so enjoyable, and we’re certain to return. We eagerly recommend this excellent hotel to everyone. A Small Suggestion: While we absolutely love this place, one feature we would appreciate is the addition of a coin laundry facility. Many 5 star-hotels in Japan offer this option, and it’s a convenient alternative for guests who prefer not to use the more expensive laundry-by-piece service provided through room service. All in all, the Rex Hotel has become one of our favorite places, and we look forward to staying here again! Duke and Angelique Le Room 439 (East Wing)

“Roof top bar not special in any way. Overpriced and very average.”
We had a drink at the rooftop bar, good views across the city and service was fine but I’d say it was overpriced living off its past.
