What an amazing property. Got everything I wished for, Very spacious accommodation / rooms, clean, comfortable, complete facilities, nice bath amenities, friendly staff, amazing city view from the balcony. I also find the location perfect. I just walked (late afternoon time OK) from the Hotel/apartment to quite a number of tourist spots like Notre Dame Cathedral, THE Post Office, Ben Thanh Market, Cafe Apartment, Saigon City Hall and the Park, (I think) the building with SkyView is around this area as well and a lot more (I am sure I missed some within that vicinity). This property has commercial center connected in the lobby, I saw a number of restaurants and cafes. It was difficult to leave the room because it was gorgeous.

“Van & quy at the reception ”

I have stayed a number of times in this hotel as being a IHG member and the coveninece. This time was a exceptionally good experience as i was checked by Van & Quy, who are asset to this hotel and the IHG brand. They went out of there way to ease the whole check in experience.

Very nice apartment hotel in the city. The apartment includes washer/dryer, full kitchen, lots of shelving, and a living room. It suits long term stays well. The Residences are not the Intercontinental hotel. We booked Grab from the airport and did not see the Residences as an option so put down Intercontinental hotel. When we arrived at te hotel I told the valet that we are heading to the residences and he told the driver to drive us around the corner. We later learned that the hotel has two options in Grab and you need to choose the gate option. This would be good to note on the Residences’ website or on the reservation’s confirmation page. We booked a two bedroom suite for a family with two children. The kids bedroom had two twin beds. Although I have an IHG status we got a room on the first floor which had street noise, perhaps because we arrived at the hotel close to midnight. There is a full kitchen which we did not use. There are no food items in the kitchen so you would need to buy all. I felt like we did not need all the space of the apartment but the hotel section did not have a room for 4 people. We reserved a room with breakfast and we were given the option to eat at the Residences restaurant or the hotel’s buffet. We chose the buffet and glad we did. We initially tried to follow the front desk’s directions to the buffet but got lost. Ask staff to walk you there. The buffet had a lot of options and staff really tried to accommodate people. For example, I left some coffee in my cup and the waiter offered to put it in a to go cup for me. The buffet has an egg station, pancakes and waffles to order, fresh juices, pho station, Asian station, vegetarian food, fruits, salmon, cheeses, breads, pastries, a lot of options. Breakfast was the best part about this stay. My major complaint with the room is the shower. We could not figure out how to get the hot water to work. We tried both the master shower and the shower in the hallway. There were three dials on the wall and no colors or other identifying marks. We ended up taking cold showers. We also tried to do the laundry one day and there were no instructions. The room could use a manual with instructions. I am sure that it would be helpful also for those wanting to use the kitchen. We mostly used grab to get places. One day we needed to go to a pharmacy. We saw that there is one within a 10 minute walk. On our walk back to the hotel a shirtless guy started following us. Luckily it was the middle of the day. We tried to go up stairs to a restaurant and he continued following us. We saw the US embassy and we walked to the guard and the guy left us alone. I would caution against walking around the hotel. We also wanted to get dinner one evening and the staff warned me not to carry a bag and suggested that we take a taxi and not walk. Attached to the hotel there is a convenience store, a few restaurants, Starbucks and a couple of banks. A nice place for long stays. Definitely get the breakfast.

“Enjoyable stay”

A very enjoyable stay for us, a family with 3 young kids. The breakfast buffet had a good spread with nice local congee and vietnamese coffee. Being our first time in HCMC, the friendly and attentive staff (especially Van and Quan) were always accommodating and gave us good recommendations to local eats and places of visit. What I found good was after checkout services of a business lounge and changing rooms to refresh for guests in between flights. The shower water pressure was relatively low in the unit though. Apart from that, pleasant stay and would recommend for families.
