“Great hotel with reasonable price”
The hotel is located in the center location in district one where is the heart of the city and is one of the very first hotel built by French back hundreds years ago. It offers the most spacious room you can find for hotel. Actually it’s room is three times bigger than the 5 stars hotel next door.… more

“Lovely Old Wold Charm in the Center of Ho Chi Minh City”
This is a lovely old hotel. The rooms and exterior have been kept as closely as possible to the original 1880 (with obvious updates like air conditioning, elevators and probably newer plumbing). “A glimpse into another time.”
We stayed at The Continental purely for its history and were not disappointed. Our room overlooked the square and Opera House. “Please understand the bath is the most important in a hotel room. Safety First”
The hotel was nice for it’s age. There’s a few items that I would to address. Our bath had a Tub with a shower. This makes it difficult to get in and out since it’s usually high. Not a standard height. My wife and I both slipped on the floor exiting the tub. Luckily not hurt but could be worst… more
