We were slightly jaded when we arrived at the oldish-looking, colonial-style decorated hotel, but its allure soon rubbed off on us as we were quickly charmed by the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is ideal: it is only a 15-minute taxi ride from the city centre of Hoi An. It is easy to call one through the local phone app and inexpensive to get there. The hotel has a beautiful and long private beach, and it offers a spectacular ocean view from its main dining and outdoor sitting areas. It also has a large outdoor pool with a stunning ocean backdrop, where we cooled off in between our sightseeing trips to the city. I would like to give a special shoutout to Tuan, who warmly and professionally took care of us throughout our stay. He helped us book tickets to the nearby Memories Show, recommended fantastic local spots to eat, arranged our bicycle rentals and greeted us with his big smile every morning. Connecting rooms are available, and there is a pool and table tennis table to use when it is raining. You can even book your private movie theatre. There is a free shuttle to Hoi An, and bicycles and kayaks are available. The pool has a bunch of pool noodles, which are great to float and relax on, and a beach lifeguard is on duty. This hotel is by far great value for money, and you will feel the everyday stress drop from you as soon as you arrive!

“Fabulous beach side stay in Hoi An!”

Wonderful hotel in fabulous location with a gorgeous pool and beachfront location. Super friendly staff team - lots of activities including tennis court, gym and football. A great place to stay and explore Hoi-An and other day trips such as Cham island and My Son.

This was our first time holidaying in Vietnam. We got a great package deal though a travel company to stay at the Victoria, and I can honestly say our time there was mostly positive. We were booked into a Riverview apartment and upon arrival we were given an upgrade to an Ocean view apartment ( being it is the low season probably helped) but we were thrilled none the less and very appreciative. Now I have stayed in more modern resort accommodation, but my partner and I were very pleased with our room. The ocean view was sensational! I have read some reviews where people found the staff at the reception desk to be rude, we didn't experience that at all. Infact, they were cheerful and always greeted us with a smile. I will go further and say all the staff we met were incredibly friendly. We loved the pool / bar area, and literally dined at the restaurant every night as part of our package, we were entitled to a free lunch or dinner per day. It never got boring as the magnificent restaurant staff created a different set menu each time so each night was a wonderful dining experience. If I could offer some feedback, I think it would be handy to have an Atm in the resort as I was told the nearest Atm was 3km away. I know they have them in town, but that's not really convenient if you weren't planning on venturing into town in the first place. I would also suggest air conditioning for the reception area and the upstairs library and games room. They are potentially great areas to come to relax when it becomes a bit too hot outside without sitting in your room, but we found little incentive when its just as stiflingly humid inside as it is outside. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Victoria and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.
