“Great start & end to our Trip”

My family & I started & finished our month-long Vietnam vacation at the Icon 36 with 2 rooms for 4 nights Feb 5-7/20 and then again for our last night on Feb 28-29/20. We chose this place because the reviews were decent and the price was lower than anywhere else within walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, Train Street, Water Puppet shows & all the restaurants/cafes we wanted to try. The location was great with a 7-11 and laundromat right across the street and everything else was walkable (within half an hour). The staff were very nice, informative, and helpful with any questions we had. The free breakfast buffet was good with some nice options that changed daily. The lobby and rooms were nice; however, the windows did not face outside, just a brick wall. We would definitely consider staying here again when we return to Hanoi.

“Value for Money - Good location”

Stayed in Icon 36 Hotel & Residence, Hanoi in Dec 2019. Walking distance to a lot of street attractions. Decent breakfast. Good staff and they speak good English. Really recommend this place if you’re looking for quality and service for the value of money.

“Close to the lake ”

We had arrenged pick up at the airport by the hotell. They did not show up. We waited over 1,5 h with 2 small children. So we had to phone them and whitin 10 minuters a car was there to pick us up. We had arrenged pick up at the airport by the hotell. They did not show up. We waited over 1,5 h with 2 small children. So we had to phone them and whitin 10 minuters a car was there to pick us up. They later told us that the driver had a sick Child and he had text the hotel. Because it was so early in the morning the person in charge of the pick ups was asleep and havent seen the text. We got uppgraded to a bigger room with more beds. They let us check in early for free and also offered us free breakfast the first day. We got told that the price of the pick up was gone be 130.000 vnd. We still needed to pay for the transport... When we where checking out and was gone pay for the pick up. The prise was suddenley 300.000 vnd. I was told that I had missunderstand the price. The rooms are ok. The location at the hotel is very good. Breakfast could have more to offer.
