We have been to the former Fusion Maia twice before Covid and it was one of our favorite hotels and we wanted to check out what the new management Tia Wellness is like, and it did not disappoint us. I brought 2 kids with me, 9 yr old and 6 yr old. We really needed a trip to freshen up from stress and before the new school year for the kids. Coming to Tia Wellness resort was all we needed. As soon as we stepped into the lobby, I can feel my stress melted away with unique calming scent of aromatherapy oil and Tia’s own Creative tea offered at check-in . As we further stepped into the resort, we stopped to admire the amazing view of the symmetrical calming water feature with pool and beach and clear blue sky at the back. This is when I know I have stepped into a little paradise. Tia had done a great job with the renovation. The neutral colour of black and white is very classy and calming. Everyone in the resort, including hotel management, reception staff, restaurant staff, spa staff and house keeping staff made us felt like kings during our stay. We felt that they are always thinking of us and doing everything they can to help us have the best experience. We loved the little gifts from the turn down service every night. My kids loved the special handmade beads which they are wearing for the past few days after they came home. The folding lantern was also an excellent idea for us to try in our own pool. Room and restaurant The room was very clean and comfortable as usual. We loved spending time and having floating afternoon tea at our own little pool. We spent a lot of time eating at the hotel. Although there were only 2 restaurants at the resort, we didn’t get too bored eating there for the 4 days we were there. The food tasted better than what Fusion Maia offered. The Thursday seafood BBQ was amazing with local lobsters and Australian beef as well as local very tasty banh mi and grill Quail eggs etc etc. We also loved the healthy choices from the menu. Spa The spa offered a wide range of treatments and I was so excited to have the bamboo massage again which was very unique. I have been missing it since the last time I was here years ago. I didn’t have time to try the wide range of wellness classes this time but would loved to do it next time. Kids area My kids making friends with other kids at the pool and the Nintendo games room. It would be even better if the there bigger variety of Nintendo games or maybe even a PS5. Also, the kids room was only opened in the morning and it will be good if there are staff in that kids room for the afternoon as well. Tia is a resort for both families or couples and friends. Couples can also enjoy quiet time at the spa pool which is not accessible by kids. The free shuttle to Hoi An was also very comfortable and enjoyable. Tia wellness is now our whole families’ favorite and we are missing Tia wellness already and I am sure we will be back for the 4th , 5th and probably a 6th time. I will also recommend it to friends and relatives.

“7 nights of focussed relaxation!”

We stayed at the Tia as we wanted to be close to Hoi An but on the beach to relax. It was a great choice. We had a two bedroom pool villa which was well apportioned and had great free drinks and snack refilled everyday. We loved the free spa treatments included in each stay and the menu is wide ranging covering massages, facials, pedicures/manicures, body wraps and lots more! The hotel were very thoughtful throughout our stay and booked us in for massages on our first day on check in so we didn’t miss out. The hotel is a short (15min) taxi ride from the centre of De Nang and they also run a free shuttle bus twice a day to Hoi An (which probably saves about £8-9 each way). The hotel is not on a busy part of this long stretch of beach which is excellent as it means you have it all to yourself. The sea itself is very calm and the water was warm when we were there. Combined with a very shallow sloping beach meant it was ideal sea swimming for all abilities of swimmers. The staff here are are excellent and I would mention in particular Vi who served us breakfast and always remembered our tea orders and the general manager Chloe who seemed to be everywhere all the time speaking to guests and staff and making them all feel welcomed. This hotel is a genuine antidote to the hurly burly of Vietnam more generally and an ideal place I’d like us you needed some serious downtime away from it all! Breakfasts were extensive and the all day breakfast actually meant that one day we selected breakfast at dinner time as we had been out all day, missed breakfast and didn’t want to go out for dinner! On our day of departure they allowed us to check out slightly later and served a fantastic tea in our room. My one very very small gripe is that the gym equipment could be more extensive. There is only one electronic treadmill and no elliptical machine. There is however lots of other options and a separate weights room. Finally they do various classes (yoga, breathing and art). We missed all of these as given the spa treatments we felt our days were packed enough. Thanks for a fantastic holiday Tia and we really thought your hotel stands out as a completely different concept from all the other hotels in De Nang.

Our villa blew us away when we walked in, it was so lovely, its layout and gardens all add to the relaxing experience. We didnt venture out of the resort the whole time we were here, enjoying our time at the main pool having dinner at the pool cafe, we could not fault the food , each meal has its own unique flavour all fresh and vibrant. All the staff are lovely and the massages have been amazing- we have never been so relaxed, thank you for a wonderful stay

“Hidden gem”

We looked for a lot of beach resorts in Da Nang and while there are many well known hotel brands, somewhere the mixed reviews created a doubt. Took a punt with TIA and it turned out to be amazing. Beautiful property, very well maintained, the pool and the beach is amazing, you can walk for miles.... more

We looked for a lot of beach resorts in Da Nang and while there are many well known hotel brands, somewhere the mixed reviews created a doubt. Took a punt with TIA and it turned out to be amazing. Beautiful property, very well maintained, the pool and the beach is amazing, you can walk for miles. Best part is their pool villas, the layout is amazingly done with amazing privacy, the green foliage makes it a very serene experience. The inclusive spa treatment is very nice and the spa itself is amazingly well maintained and beautiful. If things can be improved is the variety in their ala carte menu, found it a bit sparse, perhaps because Hoi An offered amazing meals.
