Our 2-night stay at Crowne Plaza Danang Hotel in October 2024 was a delightful part of our family vacation in Vietnam. Location: (9/10) Conveniently situated between Danang and Hoi An, this hotel offers a prime seaside location about 30 minutes from the international airport. The beachfront setting, complete with panoramic coastal views, truly makes this resort a gem in Danang. Ambiance: (9/10) The hotel’s ambiance blends modern decor with architectural elegance. With touches of local artistry, natural elements, and a tranquil vibe, Crowne Plaza exudes a serene, refined atmosphere. Reception: (8/10) The reception team was warm, courteous, and efficient—ensuring our check-in was smooth. They personally guided us to our rooms and gave us an overview of the available amenities, making us feel well looked after from the start. Rooms: (8/10) Our room offered a breathtaking panoramic view, spacious layout, and all the amenities expected in a five-star hotel. The design maximized space, creating a comfortable, luxurious feel. While some rooms feature an attached jacuzzi, our room was exceptionally maintained and impeccably clean. The spacious bathroom was spotless, though we noted the lack of a hygiene faucet, which could be a drawback for travelers from the Indian subcontinent. Additionally, the transparent washroom door was a minor inconvenience but didn’t detract from the overall comfort. Amenities: (9/10) Crowne Plaza provides a wide array of amenities: one of the largest swimming pools we’ve seen, a fully equipped gym, pool and billiards tables, table tennis, and a private beach. Beach access is available between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with other facilities open until 9:00 PM, all of which contributed to a wonderfully relaxing experience. Dining: (8/10) Dining options at Crowne Plaza include a multicuisine restaurant and a Korean restaurant. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with an extensive selection to suit all tastes. The attentive service staff added to the experience, serving us with warm smiles each time we visited. Staff: (9/10) The hotel staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with a positive attitude. Their professionalism and friendliness elevated our stay, making the hotel’s service memorable. Value for Money: (9/10) With its luxurious rooms, beachfront location, abundant amenities, and excellent dining, Crowne Plaza Danang is an ideal choice for families or anyone seeking a relaxing getaway in the Danang/Hoi An area. Disappointments: The absence of hygiene faucets in the bathrooms was a noticeable drawback, which could inconvenience travelers from specific regions. Nonetheless, the overall experience made up for this minor issue.

“Large nice hotel on the beach”

I checked in late at night and the first thing I noticed was that the room smelt awful (like urine). At first I thought it was just damp and needed the AC running for a bit and it would clear up. I checked in late at night and the first thing I noticed was that the room smelt awful (like urine). At first I thought it was just damp and needed the AC running for a bit and it would clear up. When I woke up, the room still smelt bad. When I complained, they sent someone up to check the room and although they didn't seem to think it was an issue, they agreed to give me a different room. The new room was better, but also had a slight smell also but I got used to it. The rooms here are very spacious, have all the expected amenities, a comfortable mattress and a large outdoor balcony. This must have been very low season as the hotel was empty. The weather was very hot and it rained every day beginning in the afternoon. Each morning I would spend time at the beach and pool while there was some sun. I always had the whole the place to myself. You can order food and drinks and get service at the pool. It was very nice. The pool is huge, the beach was excellent and the grounds were immaculate. There is a large casino next door but it also connects with this hotel. At the casino there were a lot of people. You have to change money into $USD to get chips and you cash them back in for $USD. I thought that was strange. The location of the hotel is just south of the main beach area, you can not walk anywhere. This is fine as Grab cars are so cheap. It cost around $5 all the way from the airport. Overall, I found the hotel to be very nice. I would go back.

“Good hotel but need improvement of “ customer care” I usually have “ welcomed drinks at 5* hotel but Not here-”

The hotel operated under IHG brand , big hotel, long swimming pool, but customers services is not good, no welcome drinks ! Breakfast is mostly China style and simple. Price/ night is 100$ reasonably acceptable. Room is clean, large balcony
