During my stay, I had a problem with my health related to my stomach, and these people from the hotel really took care of me the best way possible, even I got chicken soup for ill people haha anyway, didn't miss home at all and I got courtesy entrance to rooftop VIP lounge. SO, despite problems in Venezuela, at the Inter I had a pleasant stay! Two thumbs up, the desk guy José was really helpful and he was changing shifts! Amazing!!!

“Hotel number one in Maracaibo”
Need to improve the Room Service, good view of the Maracaibo Lake, good pool when its sunny, good casino, a lot of parking, nearby of La Vereda del Lago, Plaza Republica, and El Milagro Av; has a Disco called Bari Bar with good Promos, in some words this Hotel has everything in the same Place!

“Excellent”
I came for business and the people make me feel like home. The food is good but kind of expensive if you compare with a regular restaurant. The personnel is amazing and the hotel have live music in Friday’s.

The Intercontinental is well located and provides a standard business hotel experience. Unfortunately, there are plenty of quarks including not being able to use a Venezuelan credit card as a guarantee, the requirement to pay the entire stay at check-in, and expensive, mediocre restaurants. The steakhouse was expensive and the meat had no flavor. The Italian restaurant doesn’t have a menu. Instead, you must rely on suggestions form the waiter without any idea what you order costs. The coffee bar has light snacks, but beware of the prices. A small ham and cheese sandwich with a handful of fries will cost you 500,000 Bolivares or more than $100 on the official exchange rate. There are positives: the included breakfast buffet is excellent and provides ample choices, and the gym is well-appointed.
