On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

“Very large beds and clean”
Even for a single-occupancy room, I was provided a big sofa and a bed large enough for three persons to sleep.The shower and bath were very clean and organised. There were cutlery and dishes provided on the small tea-table.

“Good choice”
If you are looking for a hotel close to the center of Caracas, it´s a good choice. Clean and organized, the Hotel President offers you a good location and services. The breakfast could be a little better. It´s a little limited in terms of options.

The President Hotel has a convenient location in downtown Caracas and nice spacious rooms. It is also safe to stay there. Most of the staff do not speak English though. “It was a pleasant stay!”
We stay there for only one night on September 2010. It is a very nice hotel. Large room, clean and well-preserved. The bathroom was very nice, too. We had dinner there and the meal was great.
