Excellent Hotel!! I can't even imagine anyone leaving a bad review. Hotel was fantastic! Excellent Hotel!! I can't even imagine anyone leaving a bad review. Hotel was fantastic! Nice and clean, the lady checking us in was very nice, breakfast was very good-included sausage, eggs (hot cooked eggs plus cold boiled eggs), biscuits with gravy, waffles, toast, bagels, muffins, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt..) and the kids enjoyed the pool! I would definitely stay here again! It's like a breath of fresh air to find a good hotel like this.

“Great stay at Comfort Suites Hanes Mall”

We had a very nice stay. Karen at the front desk was very helpful. Hotel and room were both very clean and in order. Breakfast had many many choices and was kept well stocked and the dining room was continually kept clean.

“Ripoff amenities charge added $2.26.”

The hotel charges a ripoff extra charge for $2.26 to cover the free wifi, pool, and exercise room. They charge this regardless of whether you actually use any of these amenities. I have never seen this before. I spoke with the hotel and they have no plans to change this poor provide refunds.

We booked the 2 king bedroom suite for 4 adults for a 3 night stay. We requested a late check-in and were able to get into our room within 5 minutes. The room was very spacious and clean. One main room with a king bed and sofa bed, and another separate room with a king bed. There was a sink, refrigerator and microwave provided. The king beds were very comfortable. Each room had it's own temperature control and TV. The room itself looked beat up, I'm guessing due to families booking it. The carpet had black something black stained on it. The dresser in the separate bedroom had a broken drawer and the other dressers top two drawers would not stay closed. The nightstands were visibly worn on the edges. The door between the two rooms wouldn't stay closed so we had to put something in front of it to keep it closed. There were white stains on one of the sofa cushions. We requested linens for the full size sofa bed, and received a king size sheet and stained blanket. The sofa bed mattress was terrible and you could feel the springs through it. We had to purchase a mattress topper in order to use it. We called down to the desk about it and the staff advised we try some extra blankets which we did try and it make it tolerable. We brought all these issues to the staff's attention and they did apologize, there was no offer of room change or price reduction. All and all the room was large enough to accommodate all of us and provide privacy, but was pretty beat up. Also, I do not understand why hotels offer sofa beds as an additional sleeping option and then provide a terrible mattress that no one would be able to sleep on even a child. On another note, this hotel location was fabulous. There is an Outback Steakhouse right next to it, a Starbucks in the next plaza and a small mall just across the street with a Burger King. A short drive up the road and you have pretty much everything in the way of restaurants, and shopping. If you are looking for a budget, clean hotel to accommodate a large family then this is a good option.
