Can I just say. Wow When you first walk in. Clean, bright and inviting. 2x I had to contact the hotel about my room/app. App went right to pah without choosing the room. Called hotel. One ring and they picked up. Explained they were sold out the night before so that when the rooms start getting cleaned they will become available check the app after 12 or 1. Did that and I was given a first floor room. But we wanted the top floor. Called back and again first ring, picked up. They immediately switched my room to 427. No issues. Got to hotel. Right next door is a Bear's smokehouse. Walked right there to eat. If you love BBQ this is your place. It is a hopping place. Everyone seems to eat there. Spouse enjoyed it alot. (I'm a vegetarian so just ate sides...delicious). Then went to our room. Again, front desk greeted with smiles and water bottles. So far, my only complaint of most hotels... No one cleans elevators .... Carpeting looked older in the hallway to our room but we are not touching it..... But little kids crawling I wouldn't do. Also garbage cans by elevators were empty , clean. Walking to a room immediately didn't have that ick feeling. Tiles walking in bedroom area has carpeting everything appears clean plenty of storage plenty of hooks. Even though I cleaned everything no dirt on sanitizer wipes unlike most Hamptons they're usually filthy. This one did not have any dirt left on the wipes. Bed was comfortable even the linens didn't feel icky. Phone wasn't even horribly dirty I don't even think I had dirt cleaning the phone. We had room 427. I wanted a room on the odd number side on the top floor because it's away from the highway and there's all trees in the back so it was nice and quiet all night. Hotel appears to be booked solid again cuz every parking space looks full. Shower and bathroom appeared clean again wiped everything down didn't see any residue anywhere especially the toilet which is usually the worst experience when cleaning. I love the touch that the cleaning lady did. She put the toilet paper under the water to make that circle to seal the toilet paper so that you knew that she cleaned. They definitely have at least in this room a great or very good cleaning person I didn't see any dirt on the floor. No plastic bags in the garbage cans which are always so squished with air. So I could actually use the garbage can. And I didn't feel icky even touching the garbage because I'm telling you everything looked clean. I rarely if ever give five stars I definitely gave this one a five star because the last few Hamptons we have gone into have been absolutely horrendous or absolutely filthy or absolutely terrible staff this one seemed lovely. Forgot to mention the night staff's name Sharrod. He was the one that gave us the water while the girl was checking Us in and he was the one in the morning still working when we got up at 6:00 a.m. breakfast was ready clean didn't look horrible or like it was just put out without any love. This one this one woman was put the food out with love you could just see that she cared about her job. So thank you to her too. Coffee was piping hot at 6:00 a.m. I would stay here again. As I am writing this I happen to see a bug a crawling bug but I don't actually know how it would have come in here as the windows are sealed so somehow it crawled in or came in or came through the AC but maybe it was behind the shades I'm not sure cuz I just opened the shades. But whatever it was slow moving and it was long and skinny black I'm attaching a picture but I'm telling you I saw no other bugs nothing so I don't know if it's a fluke or not but I don't know.
