“Just ok”

This is not your typical Hampton.I did digital check in and given room #200.However, when we arrived we were given a different room. It was not a problem since it was the same type of room.We checked in on Wednesday 12/11 around 6:00 PM. Unpacked and went to dinner. We came back we had no hot wat… more

Called the front desk after explaining g the issue we were told we could change rooms but it would not be the same size room we reserved. We really did not have a choice since we were staying three nights and hot water was a necessity. We go to the reassigned room. It was ok. Two beds instead of one. The next morning I tried to use the hair dryer. It smoked and crackled. I u plugged it. Went to turn on a light the bulb needed replaced. Coffeemaker lid was snapped off ( since it was sitting beside the coffeemaker indicated housekeeping was aware). The microwave had a tray that was too big so the door was a struggle to close. I alerted the front desk. The light bulb was replaced and I was given a portable hairdryer. I was to.d nothing could be done about coffeemaker( it was still operable) or microwave. The next issue:I understand not changing towels or sheets for one day. However, there was not replacement coffee we were given two coffees for three days with two people ( I guess with the coffeemaker sketchy they chose not to replenish) ,trash service, or vacuuming. Then on the one day we had housekeeping the floors were vacuumed or at least not thoroughly vacuumed. If you are expecting service that is typically given at a Hampton stay at one of the other two in Williamsburg.
