“Great place for a sightseeing HQ in DC”

A very good place to stay - the personel is extreemly nice and very helpfull, well above average. The location is good and the conditions reasonable. The room interior is a bit old and the walls a bit thin so its quite loud when other guests party.

I stayed at the Arc Hotel in Washington DC from June 11 to June 14. I chose this property primarily for its excellent location—less than a 5-minute walk to the Foggy Bottom-GWU subway station and close to grocery stores and restaurants. The hotel and its facilities were impeccably clean, and the staff were consistently pleasant. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. However, my stay wasn't without a minor hiccup. I arrived two hours earlier than the check-in time and was informed by the front desk receptionist that my room was ready but would incur a $50 early check-in fee. I opted to check my bags and return later to avoid the fee. After checking out, I noticed an additional charge on my credit card for an extra full-day stay, despite having paid in full through Agoda. A call to the customer service representative at Arc Hotel revealed this was an oversight, and they assured me the fee would be refunded within 7 to 10 days. True to their word, the charge was reversed in 5 days. Overall, despite the billing error, my experience at Arc Hotel was positive, thanks to its convenient location, clean facilities, and friendly staff.

The hotel staff was amazing; the rooms were very nice, and I liked the cafe area they had. It was a great location----1000 percent worth it, and great value too!!!! Only minor issues include no microwave in rooms (have to go down to the lobby area for microwave), and if the guests next door are loud, the walls are not very sound proof---some nights were better than others----however we were so tired we could mostly tune out noise, and most guests were respectfully quiet after 10pm-----I would suggest bringing some disposable ear plugs just in case. It was immaculate and well cared for----and again a brilliant price and location that cannot be beat!

Nice staff and clean rooms. As we had a car we were surprised of the 50 USD pr. night parking fee. Air conditioning was working, but defect, so very loud.
