“A good place to stay :)”

We stayed here on a family holiday to Disney. It’s nearby Disney and has restaurants / shops near by. The place was clean and most things worked. There was our own pool, washing machine, drier etc which we found useful! There’s nice places to walk around near the lake and a nice resort to stay on. Some of the things in the rooms didn’t work eg the light, the fan made clicking noises in one of the rooms! The bins situation on this complex was quite bad - we would split ours recycling and non and take it to the site bins but they weren’t open and so people had to just pile up their rubbish outside which smelled and looked awful! Apart from this we had a great stay! I would recommend but we didn’t spend much time on complex.

We stayed in this resort for a week over Christmas. It was quiet and somewhat secured. It states it is monitored by security, which there is security at the gates at all times but there were many times we came home and the security gate was left open. The condo was very clean and quiet and had everything we needed. A full kitchen, 2.5 baths and full laundry. We also had a heated pool. Nothing big, but enough to keep the kids entertained. There are dining and shopping options within minutes of driving. The only disadvantage of the resort is the high resort fees. It was just over $400 for the week and we didn’t get a chance to enjoy any of it. We were too busy at the Disney parks everyday. I wouldn’t recommend this resort if you are doing the parks and only plan on staying to sleep. If you’re looking for a quite relaxing environment, then this resort would be ideal.

We stayed at 3078 White Orchid at the Encantada Resort in Orlando. This location is very convenient to Disney parks and is a nice property. After I booked this stay, I checked out the reviews. There were a few that mentioned a broken hot tub. Since I booked this unit primarily for the private hot tub, I decided to contact the property a week before we arrived and ask that the hot tub be checked to ensure it was working well. We checked in Saturday evening and were looking forward to having a hot tub after a long travel day. Guess what? Hot tub not working! We are very disappointed. I called the security to have them report it in the morning. In the morning I called at front desk to request maintenance fix the hot tub. It was not fixed until Thursday and the water not hot until 9:30pm. One use of the hot tub over the whole week. I asked for a refund on my bill and was told $100 credit could be applied as credit. I requested more since that amount was an insult; the best they could do was $155. First of all, the townhomes need to checked before it is rented. The dishwasher was lacking the wand so could not be used either. The property advertised the private hot tub in the townhome then didn’t deliver. Very poor customer service. We often vacation in Orlando won’t be back to this property. Wendy
