“Convenient stay”

I like staying here when we go to a concert in Ridgefield. The breakfast in the restaurant is fantastic and we had excellent service there. I like staying here when we go to a concert in Ridgefield. The breakfast in the restaurant is fantastic and we had excellent service there. The only negative was when checked in, we got our keys and got all the way to our room and the keys didn’t work. Trekking back to the front desk to discover they were not programmed. Just tiring to do at 10:30 pm.

August 2024 First the positives: desk staff was very accommodating & friendly. My slow bathroom sink was repaired promptly. The maid was real good about changing our bed after I scraped my arm and bled on the sheets. (Note: they do not service the rooms unless you request it. And no rooms get serviced on Sundays.) As has been mentioned in previous reviews, what was charming 20 years ago is now in need of a major overhaul. We had a ADA accessible room, which we really appreciated. But someone in their in infinite wisdom installed a bed that is 32 inches above the floor (measured by my iPhone app 3times) when you have bad knees and are of average height, it's truly challenging to get into bed. Also, getting hot water was a big issue. Our first two nights I blamed it on the fact the hotel was jammed, with kids soccer and women's tennis events. But Sunday night it was very quiet. Came home from the Santana concert at 12am, still couldn't get more then 3 minutes of hot water, then it became luke warm. Same thing at 9am Monday morning. We saw the same garbage and cigarette butts in the parking lot all 4 days/3 nights of our stay. Also, what appear to be dog urine stains in the 3rd floor hallways. Where’s their pride in management/ownership? The restaurant food was ok, but service was slow. We loved Vancouver, but we'll stay elsewhere in the future.

“Nice staff but needs a refresh.”

We have stayed at the Heathman many many times. The hotel is very charming in decor, they have birdsong piped into the hallways, and the rooms have a rustic, cabin feel. The drawback is, it’s a little outdated. There are no USB chargers, so you have to have a plug-in charger for all of your devices… more

We have stayed at the Heathman many many times. The hotel is very charming in decor, they have birdsong piped into the hallways, and the rooms have a rustic, cabin feel. The drawback is, it’s a little outdated. There are no USB chargers, so you have to have a plug-in charger for all of your devices. The beds are also somewhat uncomfortable. I think it would benefit from a little refresh. Something as simple as putting in new lamps that have USB chargers would be amazing. The young man at the front desk was very friendly, but he was dressed very casually in a T-shirt and flannel shirt that was un-buttoned. I also don’t understand why they don’t service the rooms. We were there for four days and it seems like it should just be common that they would service the rooms. Our friends had their van window broken in the parking lot. It would be great if the hotel would have security in the parking lot overnight.
