The first couple nights we stayed, the water was hot. And got hot quickly. Perfect! Then it started to take awhile to even heat up a little. No big deal. Just could be better. We stayed on the forth floor. There was a leak that was on the carpet once you were in the shower, the spot would get worse. And it was no where near the shower. It was nice to have the option to use the free shuttle to and from Sea World! It offered other drop off and pick up locations but we only used it for Sea World.

“Great location and base for exploring”

We recently stayed here as part of our visit to Orlando. We chose this hotel due to its location and were not disappointed. It was close to sea world and aquatica. You can walk to the nearby restaurants and we checked with reception and it is safe to walk to them. Check in was quick. Staff helpful. Don’t forget the parking charges. You can take a shuttle to sea world or Aquatica. We took the shuttle to sea world and it worked out well. We walked to aquatica and it was a 10 min walk. Breakfast was fine and sufficient for us. During the first part of our stay it was very busy at the weekend. The only issue with this was that with only 3 lifts and then 2 out of service it became a problem. We would have walked up but were on level 6. Also they used the lifts for service. Not ideal. The pool was usually quiet and we could always get a seat or bed but not at the weekend. They provided pool towels which was handy. The pool area could do with a bit of a refurb as there were tiles coming off the sides and the paving around the sides were uneven and had been filled in by sand. The steps were also a bit wobbly. Housekeeping is every other day but you can ask for extra towels and if needed you can ask for the trash to be taken away. All in all a good stay. A good location on international drive and close to SeaWorld, and aquatica and the I-4.

“No excuse for this atmosphere”

The hotel smelled of weed down the halls. Had to put a towel at the bottom of my door to block the smell of weed coming into the room. I’ve stayed here before and had no issues this time the whole experience was very disappointing. Staff was understand and apologized for this

We had previously stayed at this hotel pre covid and it was excellent value so we decided to stay at this hotel again. We booked our 10 night stay through Hotels.com and stayed at the hotel between 11/09/2024 - 21/09/2024 . We stayed in room 1401. We travelled with other family members who stayed in different rooms. When we booked our holiday there was no mention of a $50 dollar per day incidental expenses charge so we were all dismayed when we were informed of this on our arrival. I stated that I would pay the car parking charge upfront but I was informed that I could not and it would be taken at the end of our stay from the incidental expenses charge. We had $350 and $100 incidental expenses charge taken from my account. When I complained and explained that it could effect my budget they were unsympathetic. The Reception staff just kept stating that it was down to my credit card company. I stated that it was showing paid to them on my credit card. My question is was Springhill Suites or my credit card company earning interest on my incidental expense charge? Beware of this charge if staying at this hotel. On check out I received a receipt and set off to the gulf coast. When I had chance I checked my receipt and saw that I had been charged $8.23 Restaurant Room Charge. I have no idea what this is or why. I checked with my other family members and they were not charged this. On two occasions when we returned to our rooms there was no information about the water in our room being either turned off or turning brown. A simple notice in the Reception Area would of sufficed. The hotel used to be a Seaworld associated hotel but this is no longer the case and therefore no benefits staying at this hotel. The positives about this hotel are: (i) Room very spacious and clean (ii) Good location (iii) Great pool and area Negatives (i) The above $50 per day ($450) incidental expenses charge and $8.23 Restaurant Room Charge (ii) $18 parking charge is a bit excessive (iii) Breakfast is very limited and at best average Due to the above neither my or other family members will be returning to this hotel.
