We are at this resort at the moment, we were supposed to be having 2 weeks at Sand Key on the Gulf but due to the hurricanes we had option of refund or change. We have been coming to Florida for 30 years and the thought of 2 weeks in Orlando was not appealling but my wife discovered this resort and it's wonderful. The staff are so friendly, pools, garden areas are beautifully kept and there are activities for all ages. But also quiet areas too. We are staying in a 2 bed apartment overlooking a small lake, the rooms are very clean, comfortable and well kitted out if you want to dine in. Its a 15 min car drive or 25/30 mins in bus to the Icon Park on I Drive and reasonable priced Ubers. The only thing I cannot fathom out is why they close the bar at 10pm when the pools are open to 11pm , as if it was a noise thing there is more noise from the pools than there is from the bar area, so people having a late park visit or park up the car after dining out looking for a night cap are disappointed, overall its 10 out of 10 from us.

We have just spent 11 days at this beautiful resort. We checked in with Skylar who was very nice and helpful. We were allocated a first floor room (ground floor for UK), so asked to be moved to a higher floor, which was granted. Thanks, Skylar and the manager in the back office who allowed the change. We were taken to our room by Matt who drove us in a golf cart. Throughout our stay, Matt was always helpful, answering our queries (he sometimes worked at the checking desk). On entering the condo, a very strong musty/mouldy smell hit us, but we were too tired after a long flight from London to go back to the reception to ask for a change. So I switched off the aircon (I always do anyway as it makes me sick) and opened the bedroom door onto the balcony and the lounge area door also onto the balcony. The next morning we opened the curtains, WOW, the view was stunning! We did not see it before as we arrived late at night. Despite the smell (which was not as bad due to the air and draft from the balcony), the apartment was beautiful and very clean. We had issues with the washer dryer and the dishwasher, but were promptly rectified by the security team who reported them to the engineers. So big thank you to all the staff, you were all so helpful! The reason why I did not give 5 stars is because, one the mouldy smell, two the slow and intermittent wifi. If we come back to Orlando, we will for sure choose this hotel.

We love staying here, most of the staff are absolutely lovely, not sure what the point of the meet and greet lady is as she doesn't appear to do anything but ask are you checking in and then point you to the check in line. Sometimes reception is very busy depending if they have enough staff on. We have stayed several times and a bit hit and miss getting the correct room as when staying for a longer period they do not seem to be able to process this. We were lucky this time we were given a 1 bed LK villa with a small balcony but were told we may have to move at the end of our first week by the receptionist. This definitely does not make sense for us as you would check out at 10 am and not be allowed into the new unit until 4 pm so without us having a car would cause all sorts of problems. Plus the hotel would have to clean this unit for another family and clean the new one for us. Luckily I rang guest services 2 days later and they sorted for us. Definitely would only stay here with a balcony. Brilliant location for restaurants, theme parks and supermarkets. You don't need to have a car as the i trolley is very good, plus ubers. Lots of activites for people and families.

This enormous resort is in a great location to reach most Florida attractions & it's easy to get around with reasonably priced Ubers. The check in was friendly & efficient. They arranged for a buggy to take me to block 25 which was a good 8 minute walk from reception. On arrival the apartment 25-322 was very clean but smelled of damp/mildew. A maintenance man came & changed the filters and sprayed deodoriser. The apartment itself was spacious & had everything you might need. The bed was VERY comfortable. There was a decent shower and separate jacuzzi. The Wifi was patchy - when it was working it was quite fast but it did keep going down. The St Augustine gym was great & situated just along from the marketplace shop which stocked a wide range of groceries. The pool areas looked nice but I didn't visit as it was so rainy. When it became likely Hurricane Milton was going to hit, the resort management kept us informed & you felt prepared and safe. We were advised to bring in the balcony furniture & stay indoors. I decided to leave early - if I had stayed I would have asked to change rooms as the smell did not go away & I was concerned any longer it would have clung to my clothes including the new ones I had bought!
