“Comfortable stay with location being the biggest benefit of this hotel.”

We chose the Rosen Inn at Pointe for its central location on International Drive, having previously stayed here in 2015. We chose the Rosen Inn at Pointe for its central location on International Drive, having previously stayed here in 2015. The hotel remains fairly basic, and while the rooms are a bit dated, they were clean and offered enough amenities to make our stay comfortable. Check-in was fairly quick, and the reception staff kindly arranged our two rooms to be next to each other, which we appreciated. We had breakfast at the hotel on a few days and also one dinner, using complimentary vouchers provided by Virgin Holidays. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and honestly, if we hadn’t had the vouchers, we likely would have looked elsewhere. There were two pools open, both were clean, with plenty of sunbeds and fresh towels available. However, the water was very cold, so it wasn't being heated. One downside was the on-site shop, which is ridiculously expensive, with many products not having any prices on. I’d recommend guests make the short trip to Walgreens instead for any essentials. On check-out, we were able to leave our luggage at reception until our transfer arrived later in the day, which was helpful.

“Ideal location for attractions”

This hotel located on International Drive is ideal for visiting all the attractions with a free shuttle to and from the hotel to Universal Studios . The hotel is a bit dated but functional . Plenty of parking , nice restaurant and bar. There’s an outside pool which was lovely .

Staid for 11 nights. Have to agree with the others that the rooms were cleaned every day but minimum done. My bed was made but even though the sheets were dirty as spilt drink on them not changed so slept in dirty bedding for a week. Carpet only vacuumed once in our stay brushed every other day so feet often black when walking on it. Very dated but everything worked and they kept up with the maintenance, Didn’t want a bath as the enamel had worn off the bottom and was very scratchy and yes air con kept us awake as so noisy but at least we had aircon. Staff were very helpful and friendly and food was very good but only ate a few times in hotel restaurant. There is only a complimentary bus to Universal you have to pay to go to the other parks by bus and only pick up once a day. Pool was brilliant at the end of the day but far too busy if you did not reserve beds early you had nowhere to sit seemed like everyone was using the pool near us. There was maintenance work being carried in other parts so not sure if any other pools open and work was done with the minimum amount of disruption as possible. Three stars is due to state of rooms and beds not being changed even though dirty.
