Stayed here for a week over the 4th of July with my family (kids 9 and 13). Fun stay overall. The property is huge, and a little tired, but it is fun and close to the theme parks. Our room was a standard with 2 queens. Toilet and shower has a barn door that separates them from the bathroom. I really hate the barn door thing. No privacy at all, you can hear everything. Might as well have a curtain. Beds were very comfy and having a mini fridge was very helpful for us. We kept snacks and some basic breakfast stuff in there during the week. The pool is big with plenty of chairs and space, with some smaller slides for kids. Then there is a separate pool with large water slides and a lazy river, that you have to access with a wristband. Kids loved the big slides and lazy river. Only downside it you have to walk over from the main pool. We had dinner one night at the Italian restaurant, Siro. We sat down at 7p and we walked out at 728p. Service was super efficient and the food was good. The best thing about the hotel is The Pantry. It had snacks, drinks, and hot items that you purchase for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hot dog was better than the one I had at Disney. And reasonably priced for a hotel. We had pancakes, French toast, and breakfast sandwiches. Pizza and hot dogs for lunch, and they also have cold sandwiches, salads, and soft serve ice cream. We would definitely come back. Just need a little TLC. And they do a lot of group business, so be ready for that. They also offer a free shuttle to/from the parks at set times.

“A Great All Inclusive Resort For Any Purpose”

Upon entry into the property, veer to the left side, the right is for conference members and coach buses, you will notice both lanes, head left for the main hotel entrance, drop off and valet parking. This is a resort hotel, it will be very busy, you may need to wait a few minutes to check in, calm down, relax and wait your turn. Make sure you get on the right elevator, the room numbers are long, so make sure you are in the correct section based on the tower you are assigned. If you have a room near the pool and waterslides, expect it to be noisy with lights flashing especially after the sun goes down because some type of party will be in progress. If you are a parent or an adult with sensitivities to noise and strobing lights, please explain that when you make your reservation and upon check in, this section will be a NO for you! If you have a room near the side of the hotel where they have some ongoing construction, there will be the sounds of work and also warning beeps from the forklifts and you may hear some chatter from the workmen, especially on the patio in the evening when it is quiet. The rooms here are spacious, especially if you have a suite. You have a microwave, fridge, mini kitchen and a dining section with a very large table facing a big screened TV. The living area is also very large and can accommodate several people on the many sofas, chairs and a few netted chairs for relaxation. The suite has a separate bedroom and you can close the doors for added privacy if needed. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom! I need to speak to someone about this, because a suite this large, the size of an apartment, has the smallest cramped bathroom. That fancy design on the faucet is cute, but it leaked and wet the sink every time you washed your hands. I am sure a man came up with this design, it's cool, but not a good one! With the shower, I love the 3 jets, but the pad should be closer to the shower door or have a remote so that you can turn on the water before you step in. The water needs about 90 seconds to warm up and not everyone wants that stream of cold water on them while they wait! The toilet seems like an afterthought, squeezed in between the shower, and how does a room this large not have an additional stand alone toilet? Even if this suite is used as a meeting place for business or a team building activity, another bathroom and definitely a larger bathroom is sorely needed. Housekeeping staff did a wonderful job keeping the room clean while respecting the privacy of the guest, so that is always a win for me at any resort hotel! I also had no problem getting a fresh set of sheets and clean blankets when requested. Room service was quick, but be mindful they do charge a standard delivery fee. You have everything you need on this property, restaurants, entertainment, shopping, sports bars, as well as direct proximity to Sea World and other Disney parks. I would definitely stay here again, but I would rather book adjoining rooms versus suites for more bathroom access. Enjoy Unnerved Traveler Extra Tip~If you drove your own vehicle, the parking garage is a mile away and you will need to use the shuttle to get back to the hotel. If you are visiting someone and Valet parking I would advise you not to leave, it’s $56.00 per pull up! You also don’t want to start your GPS until you leave the property completely, it will take you in a circle around the property. I spent 20 minutes circling the golf course until I realized I needed to head out back to the main road!
