I couldn’t be happier with my choice. In this lively and busy area, I found a peaceful spot. The two bedroom suite was perfect. Even for a solo traveler like me. I enjoyed making my coffee in the morning, drinking it on the balcony with a wonderful view of the golf course and the relaxing noise of the fountains. Everything was top-notch, there is nothing I can complain about. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth and I was not bothered by any MVC sales pitches. I checked in late at 8:30 in the evening that might have been the reason. Once, I walked to the Marriott World Center when the shuttle drove by. The driver stopped and asked me if I wanted to jump on, so nice. I spent exactly 5 minutes at the noisy and busy Marriott, and walked back to my balcony to grab a glass of wine and enjoy the peace. I only have high praise for the Royal Palms

We had a great time here. We arrived very early a m.The staff were very accomodating and took our luggage while we went shopping.We got into our unit at approximately 1.30pm.It was a busy weekend, so well done to them. Our unit is beautiful, clean and very well maintained and supplied. The two big windows in the master bedroom are a real feature, giving an air of space and light. I loved looking out at the trees and the water from my very comfortable bed. .There is plenty of storage and a large jacuzzi. The bed was super comfortable. The dining area has a quirky large mirror to match the design in the chairs. The second bedroom couldn't be faulted. The kitchen has a great cooker etc., everything supplied. Outside, the gardens are lovely. The pool is spotless. It's a ten minute walk to the Marriott hotel, the pool there is big, impressive but very busy and noisy. Whereas the Royal Palm was like a quiet sanctuary, so whatever floats your boat. Nearby, there's a Walmart and a Publix. We were happily surprised that previous negative reviews didn't play any part in our wonderful, comfortable experience here. What is there not to like?

We stayed here for 5 nights for The Summit and appreciated the large spacious 2 bedroom/2bath villa, full kitchen, great a/c, and updated decor. The beds were comfortable (but linens had yucky stains), the master bath was spacious. And Netflix was a bonus! Although the decor was updated, the appliances, kitchen, bathrooms, shower, tub, etc were all very outdated. The jet tub reminded me of 1991. It was all very clean, just kind of run down but being disguised by updated “decor”. The coffee pot is very old and the carafe was cracked making a big mess. The walls were very thin. We could hear everyone in the neighboring villas. Every door close, every drawer open, every footstep, every bar stool scoot, and every chair dragged across the patio. This normally wouldn’t bother me, but it was all night long to the point no one got any sleep even with a/c, fans, and sleep sound apps on our phones. After night 3, I requested to be relocated. Upon calling the front desk I was told they were at capacity, so asked for the manager. Manager was very nice and arranged for us to move to the top floor later the same day. When we got keys, it was 3rd floor and not top. The villa was identical in all aspects, including the loud neighbors above us. Therefore, we hardly slept the entire trip. Overall the full kitchen and space was worth it for the price in comparison to other places, but losing sleep was really rough with very late nights and very early mornings with our competition schedule.

Based on all the positive reviews and pics, I booked my stay at the Marriott Royal Palms via Expedia last year. Based on all the positive reviews and pics, I booked my stay at the Marriott Royal Palms via Expedia last year. Proms and cons Pros - convenient to Disney, outside property is clean and well kept, free parking, good recreation service, great amount of household supplies. No need for housekeeping to enter the room unless you need something. Cons - requested a room NOT on ground level, reception unable to accommodate due to max capacity. I was put in room 4456 which was on the far end of the property. Long walk to reception. When I opened the front door I was hit with a musty odor. It was just terrible. My teenage boys immediately started sneezing and I had to put them on allergy meds. Glass windows and sliding doors are thin and you can hear all outside noise clearly. Bedroom glass ceiling to floor window have draft. The bathrooms are dated and needs new caulking. The jet bathtub inside of master bedroom (literally in the bedroom) is an eye sore and hard to clean. With so many choices in Orlando, I will not be returning.
