“Nice time in Orlando at Cypress Harbour”

Spent one week at this resort. It is a very nice property with many amenities, including a proper gym. Very well located, close to the main tourist attractions in Orlando. The villas are comfortable and clean. The staff are courteous. Would definitely stay there again.

A standard and reliable Mariott Vacation Resort. Pretty much everything you would expect out of resort. Very well maintained grounds. Rooms are fresh and everything works as it should. Very quite inside the room and out. There are two things that stood out. 1. There is a full size washer and dryer. Normally you find the small apartment W/D that are loud and don't work great, but they have normal machines. The other is something I really don't understand and that is the 'open concept' bathroom. This has been a trend in hotels lately and it makes no sense and even less sense in a family resort. If someone is in bed and the other person gets up early or comes in late, there is no privacy. The shower has a glass block wall that lights up the entire room when someone is in it. Maybe I'm crazy, but I have never needed to watch someone doing their daily routine. There is a reason there was a wall there.

“Worthy of consideration for the price”

Enjoyed the time at the resort. The front desk was very accommodating with our request for a water facing room and placed us in Building 50 which was an ideal distance from activities and main pool. Enjoyed the time at the resort. The front desk was very accommodating with our request for a water facing room and placed us in Building 50 which was an ideal distance from activities and main pool. Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor pool table, ping pong and basketball court (even with no kids in tow). Was slightly disappointed that the paddle boats are no longer available, but saw plenty of families taking out pontoons. The view from the room and breakfast on the veranda, well worth the money to avoid hustle and bustle of “area” hotels with a mouse. Two bathrooms was a game changer, even with just the two of us. Was also pleasantly surprised with the gentle offering at check in regarding timeshare, where a simple no is enough and no heavy pitch. Grounds were well kept, and only negative I can think of was ground floor tends to have musty smell, but a little air freshener did the trick! Don’t hesitate if you want more room to spread out and tranquil space in Orlando that’s close to parks.

“Loved our stay, perfect for a week in Orlando.”

We loved this place. We stayed for a week from 21st October 2024. We had a two bedroom apartment in block 64, first floor room. We loved this place. We stayed for a week from 21st October 2024. We had a two bedroom apartment in block 64, first floor room. This was a few mins walk to the island pool and the same 2 mins walk to the activity building. Our apartment was located beside the main lake. The apartment was perfect for us, good size, two bedrooms and an excellent living area with kitchen. Covered balcony with table and chairs. We found this to be everything we needed for a family of four. There were a number of BBQ areas outside and a really nice area with a fire pit. Reception was welcoming and staff excellent, pool facilities were very good, a choice of pools with pools bars. We used the boat often to cross to the main pool area. Lots of activities organised thought out our stay and staff really were fantastic. We hired boats and bumper boats. We played at the basketball court and they had a really cool Halloween room set up for children. We ordered food to our room and this was prompt and very tasty. The shop on site was also well stocked. The location worked for us, we had a car so were able to drive to Disney 10 mins away, universal 15 mins away and also Seaworld and Aquatic only 2/3 mins away. We’re from the UK so not timeshare targets but it was only mentioned at check in and we polity declined. We had a small issue in that we felt there was a peculiar oder in the apartment, we called and housekeeping came and put stuff down the drains and used an air purifier. We will rerun and looking to stay again in 2025.
