“We had so much fun.”
Staff was great and very helpful everything was awesome. The room was clean and room service was spot on. “Overrated”
On the positive side, the breakfast was good. Located in Good neighborhood within reasonable distance to shopping centers and parks. On the positive side, the breakfast was good. Located in Good neighborhood within reasonable distance to shopping centers and parks. Staff was friendly at the front desk and dining room (special mention to Mrs. Amor) but the staff in charge of cleaning the room did not do well. Carpet and general cleanliness of the room was poor. The carpet had many stains and looked bad. The smell of humidity in our room is to be highlighted.

“potential to be a nice family resort if maintained”
While the staff was very friendly, the hotel has several maintenance issues. The hotel/resort must have been quite the destination for families a few years back, but the lack of maintenance actually makes it a bit dangerous. While the staff was very friendly, the hotel has several maintenance issues. The hotel/resort must have been quite the destination for families a few years back, but the lack of maintenance actually makes it a bit dangerous. For example, some of the concrete coping tiles along the pool rim and hot tub are very loose and will certainly cause issues if they fall off. The room also has issues with the outlets which make intermittent connection only if you play with the plug and hope it stays - otherwise leaving you with a dead phone or laptop the next morning. The door threshold in the bathroom was also loose making for another potentially dangerous situation. Now about that "pool view" - there isn't one. Maybe if you look sideways thru the tiny window next to the coffee bar - but I would hardly call this a "pool view". Speaking of coffee bar - it's a good thing my wife did not see the roach!!! If I saw this on the first day I would no doubt have looked for another hotel! Breakfast was typical, except for the waffle machine which a lot of hotels have eliminated since the pandemic. It certainly was a welcome surprise. The breakfast staff was very friendly and made it a point to wish us a good day as we left - every day! The front desk staff was also very friendly, though I don't think they cared about the problems reported. The check out staff did tell me the hotel is scheduled for some renovation soon, but dangerous issues need to be corrected immediately! While we could see the potential in this property, I may come again "after" the renovation - if there is one - but will not accept a room type with no view when this is what I booked, and will pack a can of bug spray!
