“Older Hotel in need of some updating”

I've stayed in Disney resort hotels in the past but first time at this Hilton property. The hotel staff was generally helpful and friendly but the front desk staff need some more training. There is a line for Hilton Honors but the front desk staff generally ignore the people in that line and call to serve the regular line instead. Hilton put up the signage for this Hilton Honors line for a reason to let their core members feel special. The hotel rooms are clean and bright but are in need of updating. This property was perhaps one of the earlier properties in the Disney resort area and it shows. There is a nice pool but unfortunately I didn't get to use it due to hectic meetings the week. On the final day, I did have breakfast at the hotel and it was actually very good, with variety of options, including eggs cooked to order.

We stayed here during the holidays in 2022 and had a good experience - the room seemed recently updated, clean, and spacious, and transportation to the parks was reliable. For that reason we booked here again this year to be met with less than consistent results. Thankfully a family member we were traveling with got a room similar to what we experienced in 2022, while we were met with an extremely dated room that was no where near worth what we paid. Sheets were stained and ripped (though thankfully hotel staff replaced them quickly for us), door to the mini fridge falling off the hinges, dust and crumbs coating the desk chair and accent chair, an old fruit snack on the carpet behind the desk (no idea the last time they vacuumed), rust on the closet doors, a dingy shower floor, and a shower nozzle that sprayed in all directions. The bed was just ok. In regards to transit, it was mostly reliable though there were a couple times buses didn’t arrive at the parks at consistent times. The two free bottles of water a day weren’t enough to make up for the disappointing experience. For a higher end Hilton to have such inconsistent results in quality from one stay to another is enough to make me say we won’t be coming back here again. There are enough other hotels in walking distance to Disney Springs with transit to the parks that we can avoid this hotel straight out of the 90’s.

“Smokers at the Disney bus stop”

The hotel was mostly great, but we really struggled with the bus stop for the theme parks being in the same place as the smoking area. Every morning, we were surrounded by smokers and the smell was overwhelming. I wish the ash trays were located away from where all the kids would be every morning.
