“Amazing staff!!”

Abdul at the front desk is awesome! So is everyone else we’ve worked with here in the hotel. There’s this guy with an Appa pin as well that’s been amazing. The maids for our room 432 have also been great. The pool has always been clean and so has the linens.

“Phil Rules!”

Phil was the best server at the Fast Break! He made the dining experience incredible! He anticipated my needs, was energetic and friendly, and really made me want to come back for another meal. He managed to be on things without being obtrusive, and was generally a pleasure to have as a server!

Stayed at the Orlando Hilton for a conference. Very nice hotel and the room was quiet even though the hotel was full. Convenient to airport and convention center. Stayed at the Orlando Hilton for a conference. Very nice hotel and the room was quiet even though the hotel was full. Convenient to airport and convention center. Although that depends on which section of the convention center you’re meeting is in. If you’re in the west concourse you might want to pick a closer hotel. At least I got all my steps in each day. Overall hotel was great.

“Generally good experience”

Our very positive experience, with the Hilton Orlando, began a week or so before our arrival. Had a couple of questions. Was easily able to reach a live person and get answers to our questions. Both people, with whom we spoke, were gracious, accommodating, and very helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The room cleaning provided was excellent every time. There is a convenient link provided, on the nightstand, that affords the opportunity to leave a tip. As is a common experience for us in hotels, the room fridge froze much of the food that mostly then had to be discarded. (frozen hard boiled eggs look really weird) it took several hours for someone to come for the problem. Fortunately, he was willing to reconsider his decision to turn down the temperature ( apparently the controls are on the outside rear of the equipment) from too high to the complete other extreme, the lowest setting. Our restaurant experience was mixed. We weren't impressed with Trabucco, starting with the hostess who ignored us when we first arrived, and then asked us to step to the side, for our 6 pm reservation, as the restaurant didn't open for "two more minutes." Then she forgot us, walking right by us as she proceeded to seat the guests who were in line behind us. Service, at the table, was excellent, and, while tasty, we didn't think the offerings supported the high pricing. Also, the noise levels at the bar didn't help that initial experience. We very much enjoyed Todovos - ambience, food and service, but were rather shocked to find out that they are closed both Thursday and Friday nights? Apparently openings can oddly be fluid. FastBreak was a home run every time - service (Mackenzie, Ana and Phil - manager John) and great tasting everything. The 24 hour shop is convenient, with varied options. Expect to pay $13 for 2 cups of straight coffee. The gym is spacious and very well equipped. Elevators are abundant, clean and quick. There is a general feel of attention to customer care all around (but for the Trabucco hostess). Not a 1500 hotel rooms sort of person yet the Hilton Orlando lent a surprisingly more intimate feeling than expected, even with multiple large events- cheerleading, dog shows, and a space force conference. Kudos to management.
