“Odd location, but close to universal and the service..!”

The service was just OKAY when we checked in bit was great at breakfast(which was like any other Hampton Inn Breakfast) and was great at check put. We bookeda 2 queen accessible room with a sofabed last minute for $150.00 tax included and we were immediately thrown hy the location. Like others have said, it can look very sketchy but the hotel itself is clean, maintained well and the suites are huge. Overall we left thinking we may be back.

“Budget hotel but decent stay”

I had one night stay in a two-queen room for just $105 including taxes, a very reasonable rate. It is hard to properly rate the property, based on my brief time there, and 3 stars may be unfair due to the low price. But overall the property is definitely budget, and there is a lot of traffic noise in the room. Indeed, they even provide ear plugs to compensate! The room was clean though and had the basic amenities I would expect of a Hampton Inn. Breakfast was quite uneventful and the choices were sparse. There are many hotel options in Orlando and I mainly chose this one based on the low price, as I knew I would basically only be in the room to sleep. For that purpose, the hotel was fine, but I would not recommend it if you plan to enjoy the hotel or the room for an extended stay. The location, adjacent to International Drive, is convenient for the many restaurants and attractions in the area, although I would not recommend it if you are going to Universal or Disney. While it is somewhat close to Universal, there are other properties that are closer and much better.

On arrival the hotel looks modern and clean and tidy. Plenty of parking etc. lobby and restaurant looks well equipped and quite modern. On arrival the hotel looks modern and clean and tidy. Plenty of parking etc. lobby and restaurant looks well equipped and quite modern. Get into one of the lifts and you realise it’s like going back to the 80’s. The hallways look dated and need a refurbishment. Entering the room we were hit with a really stale odour that was like the room hadn’t been used much. The whole room looked like it needed bringing up to date. I walked around in white sneaker sox. They were black and filthy within a few minutes. The carpets need a proper deep cleaning. Entering the bathroom and the first thing we see is some wall and floor tiles hanging off. The short bathtub had paint peeling off it where it had previously been painted to brighten it up. The room servicing was terrible having to ask on a number of occasions for towels to be changed or things topped up. Very noisy upstairs neighbours. Breakfast was ok with a selection of cereals etc as well as some cooked items. Not great but adequate.
