We got into the hotel very late with three extremely tired little girls. Charlene was so pleasant and accommodating- including calling 6 sister hotels to find us a pack and play for a baby that would not sleep in a bed. She also assisted in finding us milk for a bottle when we were ill-prepared. I have stayed at many Hilton hotels in my professional career and am a member. I have never experienced such an actual delight of a human in the hotel industry. I’d also be remiss not to mention Cecile who made check out pleasant and easy. Good work Hilton by hiring the most efficient and pleasant women!!!! The room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. 10/10

“Shuttle Service -- Big Disappointment!”

We decided to stay at this suite hotel before embarking on a cruise... My biggest complaint -- the hotel shuttle! First, the location for the shuttle service at the airport was not very well marked! So, in addition to the time spent finding the pick-up location, it took two hours to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel. We missed the complimentary happy hour because of the ridiculous delay. Needless to say, we checked our grumpy selves in, and after a quick luggage drop off, headed to the bar/restaurant. The bar and restaurant table tops could have been a bit cleaner, but it was not disgusting. Possibly remnants of the happy hour we missed. After galavanting at the airport shuttle stop for hours, we worked up an appetite well beyond appetizers. So, we ordered pizza, wings, and drinks (at our expense). Good service --- no complaints. After eating and drinking to our heart's content, we retired to our rooms for the evening. The room accommodations were okay. The decor was not horrible but it's time for a renovation. The room was the typical suite layout, with separate living and bedroom areas. Overall, I slept well and enjoyed a decent shower in a spacious bathroom. As it relates to airport noise, my room was a few floors up from the ground. I'm a relatively light sleeper and did not hear much, if any, air traffic. Breakfast was good. Of course, the made-to-order omelette station is where it is at. If you are not an omelette person, there were the typical breakfast fixings -- potatoes, meat, scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. The hot foods were actually served by hotel staff. In my opinion, it would be much easier to just turn the skillets around and let folks serve themselves. After breakfast, we headed to the front desk for our shuttle "reservation" back to the airport. To our surprise, the shuttle service was also a disappointment in the morning. We waited nearly an hour after the stated reservation time before we decided to pay for other transportation to the airport. This joke of a shuttle service was not about to make us miss our cruise... Get it together Embassy Suites! We stayed at this hotel for several reasons -- mostly, the manager's reception and shuttle to the airport. Sadly, we were disappointed. Overall, just an "okay" stay.
