“Best stay at a hotel in a long time.”
Room was very clean, and hotel staff very friendly. I forgot the gentleman's name at check in. My fault. I am lousy with names, but he was very helpful and answered all our questions. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. I felt safe, no weirdos wondering around.

“Needs refurbishment.”
Hotel needs an urgent refurbishment. It looks old and not comparable to other BW plus hotels. Only one elevator which stopped working on the second day. “Inexpensive and close to Universal to be sure but with that you give up a bunch.”
I have to agree, it is close to Universal Studios and it's cheap and the staff are nice and helpful BUT....... Our shower had hair in it when we checked in, not just a strand or two but a bunch. Secondly, we had to go to the front desk for towels as there were only one hand towel and one washcloth… more
