“Extended Stay”

Beautiful hotel. Great location, amenities and service. Clean and comfortable rooms. My only complaint is having to pay a fee for every delivered package. I am an extended-stay professional client who needs to make multiple online orders for work, so having to pay the $5.00 - $10.00 per package fee… more

Beautiful hotel. Great location, amenities and service. Clean and comfortable rooms. My only complaint is having to pay a fee for every delivered package. I am an extended-stay professional client who needs to make multiple online orders for work, so having to pay the $5.00 - $10.00 per package fee over the length of my stay is unfeasible and unsatisfactory.

Pros: Room lighting was good, bed was very comfortable, temperature control was very good and responsive. The decor in the room and public spaces was tasteful. There was a fire pit in one of the outdoor spaces. There is a laundry room in basement with 2 washers 2 dryers. Restaurant dinner was reasonably priced and very good quality. We were on a high floor (12) away from the elevators, so it was quiet. Free hot water if you have your own tea bag at the "grab and go" type Starbucks franchise in lobby (no Starbucks reward points at franchises). There is a real Starbucks across the street at the enormous Del Amp Shopping Mall. Prepare to walk for quite a ways to get to it. Cons: Difficult to get someone to answer at the front desk, just rings and rings. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant was $33. for an average assortment of standard offerings. Maybe it would be ok if one had done a room and breakfast included deal. If there was the do not disturb tag on the room door after about 9am the maid had to be contacted or housekeeping needed to resend someone to make up the room. One day it was around 4pm when they arrived. There sometimes was a notice card placed under the door stating that since the do not disturb sign was on the door it assumes so service was required! There was a mini fridge in the room, generally a plus, but one had to make sure to push the button inside every 8 hours or it shuts off. In rooms with 2 beds there are only night stands between the beds. This means that if you are on the side without a nightstand you cannot plug in your phone, a big problem if you like to charge your phone overnight at well as use it before going to sleep or to check the time during the night. No extension cords are available to guests according to the front desk. The walk-in shower was very nice, but no nonslip mats were offered. The front desk explained that too many guests took them away with them, so they are no longer offered. Also, there are no grab bars in the shower. For some guests, it would be a plus to have music everywhere, in the lobby, in the restaurants, in the lobby restrooms, in the outdoor seating areas, and in the outdoor restaurant. I found it difficult to find a quiet spot to read while I waited for a friend.

Last time I had a really clean and good room. This week I got a room on the same floor, which is a completely different class. There were long hairs on the floors and even pieces of noodles. I wiped a small part of the floor with a damp towel and it turned completely black. so the floors are never washed?? in addition, the toilet bowl leak water all the time for and was half disconnected anyway. there was something in the air of the room that took my breath away and I coughed all night. everything in the room was fixed bandly. I went to complain about it the next morning. I got a rude reception and no apologies. the lady said you should have come earlier (I knew the hotel was full in the evening). Well, I got a new room when I asked for it. and I also said that it would be nice to even hear an apology or get some kind of compensation for the matter. after all, I didn't sleep at night and changing the room is its own operation. The hotel grounds are nice and clean. the gym is small, but you can find everything you need. small fridge and coffee maker in the room. in addition, next door is a very large shopping center where you can find everything for everyone. hertz Car rental in the hotel and the hotel also rents bicycles. service ok, not the best. I would like better cleaning from the cleaners and training for the lobby staff on how to deal with a customer who has experienced disappointment in the hotel. check the room before you accept it. there are many level differences in the rooms
