“Older hotel, staff accommodating,”

Bed was comfortable. Hard to find hotel, but once there easy to get to restaurants along the road. Hotel needs upgrading, staff friendly, parking easy , business center was not very user friendly, needed to reboot the system and took a long time to get it back up. I just left.

“Nice Comfort Inn to Stay At”

Very clean, updated Comfort Inn. It was in a good location for us. Close to several restaurants and shopping. It is not in downtown. The outdoor seating are was nice. The indoor area had a bar with enough seating around.

Large but due for updating. Reception staff is excellent. Room and linens are clean. On the other hand, in room refrigerator foot is missing and it leans into room when I open the door. Both electric plugs on night stand light do not work. Back entrence does not include a ramp for handicappe... more

Both electric plugs on night stand light do not work. Back entrence does not include a ramp for handicapped. Our in room microwave was dirty.

“Decent hotel in Western Knoxville ”

Located next to the highway which seems to accommodate for lorry drivers convenience. Nice decent clean hotel with very large rooms. A bit dated but in good working order. Hot breakfast served. You do need a car because it is not near any restaurants

“Decent Hotel but Noisy”

I’ve stayed here in the past and not had issues however this stay was a bit different. I just need a clean, quiet room to sleep peacefully in so not a lot of bells & whistles in a hotel stay required. Unfortunately, I was not able to get much sleep at this hotel. I got a room facing the interstate and it’s like being next to a loud raceway all night long. The walls are paper thin and the person/family in the room above me made a LOT of noise and sounded like a herd of elephants trampling around. I could hear people in the hallways over night; and even heard a person open their door & their dog barked it’s welcome…….although this isn’t a hotel that allows pets (supposedly). To lessen the noise from other rooms, I tried to at least have the heater/AC fan run but the hotel’s units don’t work that way even when you put the Fan off of Auto; you have to change the unit from Heater/AC mode to Fan mode and then you lose control of the temperature in the room. Per the hotel cleanliness – the room was cleaned every day and for the most part done very well. However, the bag for the ice bucket was never changed out so you get stuck with a wet bag to get more ice in. I did try to get a new bag but no one was at the front desk when I passed by; I realize every business is short staffed these days so not overly concerned by this but wasn’t able to resolve the issue either. Last item I’d note is that there were two businesses next door that closed down a while back and unfortunately the land where they stood is not kept up and full of weeds and garbage. I realize that Comfort Inn can’t control that but it’s not very appealing at all and possibly a safety issue. Overall, I believe the hotel is priced lower than others in the area to compensate for some of these issues so it just depends on what you are willing to put up with in a hotel visit.
