My wife and her sister and I booked the Solera through our BG program almost a year out because we had heard it was a wonderful experience from other owners, so we booked a two bedroom suite with 2 baths and a full kitchen, an 2 large balconies that both had terrific ocean views. It truly doesn’t disappoint. The facility is spotlessly clean, fresh, bright and with modern appointments. The staff is absolutely the best I’ve ever encountered in this type of beach hotel resort and special shout outs to Jorge, Morris and Elizabeth at the front desk, and Filipe the valet, who all answered my every question with smiles and extra information. All the staff greeted us with smiles and cordial greetings. Each time they saw us Although the pool and spa were temporarily down, waiting on parts to fix a mechanical issue, which was disappointing, it did not deter us from having a great time at the beach. Chairs and an umbrella are freely supplied, as are fresh towels from a cabinet dispenser on the deck accessed with your room key. Staff does something fun each day, bingo, popcorn machine, icy pops, etc. A social room with pool table, air hockey and vending machine and ice is available. Beach bikes can be acquired with your key as well. They have 4 terrific grill pergolas with (cleaned daily) big grills, counter area and a sink (but no lights, so bring a small flashlight if you grill after dark) A couple things to be aware of to note. There is no food ,drink, essentials like Tylenol, toothpaste, razor, etc outside of what’s in the machines. No cafe, restaurant or bar within easy walking distance. No cash at the front desk, so bring what you may need if you want to tip the valet. All in all this was a 9.75 out of 10 experience for us. Book early to get what you want and ENJOY!

“Friendly, clean spacious and perfect”

Really clean and friendly attentive staff. 1 minute walk to beach with chairs and umbrella. Would come back in a heartbeat! Grocery delivery was super easy and grill area was perfect. Hammocks were inviting. Barista style coffee in lobby in the mornings was a treat.

The place is very clean, however, it seems more like a hotel than a resort. There was no restaurant at all. The condo unit was fine except we got a one bedroom with no balcony. Our windows faced the next building and was so close I couldn't even see the sky. I always need a balcony if I am staying … more

The place is very clean, however, it seems more like a hotel than a resort. There was no restaurant at all. The condo unit was fine except we got a one bedroom with no balcony. Our windows faced the next building and was so close I couldn't even see the sky. I always need a balcony if I am staying on a beach. The beach was great though and they provided umbrella and chairs at no cost. The pool was actually too warm...wasn't really refreshing. The staff was fine.
