Love this hotel at Hyatt Sugar Land TX , but beware of the gurgling/bubbling room sink that pops and bleeps all night long, as we experienced our first night making sleep impossible. The hotel staff was very accommodating to our request for a different room after the first night, and the next 2 nights in a different room were fine (top floor, corner room). The sink still popped and gurgled after usage and shower/toilet usage, but it stopped and didn't keep going all night intermittently like the first night. We have made management aware and hope their plumbing techs can get the problem solved permanently. Again, we love this hotel, have stayed before when this was not an issue, and just know we'll be back! Thanks for allowing us to give feedback.

“Minor Issue”

The hotel offers a microwave in the dining area since there aren't any in the rooms. However, I discovered that it's not available during breakfast. I guess this is because they offer free breakfast. But what if you wanted to heat up something that wasn't offered in their breakfast, like a Kolache.… more

The hotel offers a microwave in the dining area since there aren't any in the rooms. However, I discovered that it's not available during breakfast. I guess this is because they offer free breakfast. But what if you wanted to heat up something that wasn't offered in their breakfast, like a Kolache. I can only get these while in Houston so I went out early that morning to get 2. I was disappointed to find out that the microwave wasn't available and no one offered to heat it up for me (I could see the microwave sitting on the counter in the kitchen).

Please review the classification of your rooms. I normally book a premium lake view room. They were unavailable this time so I booked a lake view room. There was no lake in view! I had a view of the parking lot. The young lady at the front desk informed me that someone from corporate comes each year to assess the rooms and determine what’s considered a lake view room. Whatever the criteria is, they need to rethink it. They were short-staffed so the hotel restaurant closed early. Our room smelled like someone had spilled a bottle of cologne before we got there. I do not think I’ll be returning any time soon.
