Sheraton Grand At Wild Horse Pass

“Beautiful, well appointed resort!”

We are locals and did a staycation here over July 4th. We were so impressed! The staff was very friendly, rooms/resort extremely clean and the pool area was perfect for kids! Will definitely be back here again for another staycation! Highly recommend!

Booked few months ago the price point was better than other Marriott resorts and the pictures looked great, I’m glad I picked this place. Its very easy ride from PHX airport, Jun wednesday after 11:30pm arrival very nice at front desk, checked us in fast and confirmed 2pm late check out on Friday. The night valet Claudio is super, took us to room brought in our luggage and parked car, we would have never found the room in the middle of the night as the place is sprawling. I used 2 Marriott SNA and got lucky when we got upgraded to a Governor’s Suite room 1166. They are huge decorated well with fireplace and dining table, everything worked and was spotless, also had 2 porches. It’s got to be tough keeping a desert resort clean housekeeping does a great job plus the grounds are noticeably well kept. There were 4 Governor’s Suites one on top of each other in the corner of our building, Liked the fact they put us on the ground floor as we didn’t have to take elevators and our building was far enough away from main part of hotel to give us privacy even on ground floor. Marriott platinum got us free breakfast at Ko’sin (sit outside), order whatever you want and they zero out the bill, staff was great and food excellent. Go to Sheraton Café to get early morning cup of coffee and its cheap. Pools nice, clean plenty of comfortable chairs and pool bar staff brings over pitchers of ice water. Other TA reviews correct the pool food is really good and prices reasonable we had lunch both days. Wife used the Aji Spa they have midweek specials with aggressive pricing she was impressed. We booked a horse ride at the KOLI equestrian center, we did the 6am 1.5 hour private ride, they pick you up at front door of hotel and bring you back when done. Our guide Ray was fantastic, brought us to the wild horses, saw a jackrabbit and tons of rattlesnake tracks. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone it’s a great resort.

This resort has it all. From the moment you arrive, the warmth and ambiance surround you. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming. You are transformed into an atmosphere and sounds of the Native American culture. The resort is immaculately maintained: rooms, common areas and beautiful grounds. Rooms are large and well equipped, lots of electric outlets, comfortable beds and mini fridge. Ko'sin, the main restaurant has great food with large portions of well prepared apps and entrees. The banana pudding desert is HUGE and exceptional. Jacob, John, Sean and Frank just to name a few of the servers make dining extremely pleasant. Pool area is extremely relaxing with the poolside restaurant, Hanyo having a great variety and efficient poolside servers. Particularly shoutout to Addison who is terrific. The staff makes the experience and The Sheraton Grand has a superior staff. Our thanks to all of them. This is definitely our favorite resort and we return frequently.

Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass has everything to be called a perfect getaway spot from city life for a few days. All amendments can be read in the hotel description, but what impressed me the most was the 2.5-mile replica of the Gila River created to represent the original life-source of the Gila River Indian Community, providing an amazing opportunity to explore the Sonoran desert wildlife without leaving the hotel. Unfortunately, there is an issue with internet connection at the hotel. Cellular data and Wi-Fi are both bad, so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
