Amara appears to be a slightly older property but it is very nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the restaurant was great and the location couldn't have been much better. Amara appears to be a slightly older property but it is very nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the restaurant was great and the location couldn't have been much better. Our reservations included free breakfast up to a certain amount. In my experience, hotels usually find ways to weasel out of such things but our final bill included only tips from our breakfasts. We also had noticed a couple ants in the bathroom. It was no big deal, and we mentioned it primarily as a courtesy so they could deal with it but, they refunded our resort fees without asking. Great pool for our 10 year old daughter, fire pits that were lovely on a February evening and a great hot tub. I cant emphasize enough that the staff, (front desk, bar tenders, valets, etc.) were super helpful. Would recommend them anytime.

From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by gorgeous scenery and a truly relaxing ambiance. Whether you’re enjoying the spa, lounging by the pool, or taking in the stunning Sedona landscape, every moment feels special. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Everyone was so pleasant and helpful - front desk, valet, bar/restaurant, and more. It is extremely rare to have a positive encounter with every single person at a resort, but at Amara we did! We highly recommend this resort!

The staff was all friendly each day and were attentive to our needs and also our needs to relax. The resort is laid out beautifully with the main attraction being in tune with the sounds of nature and the beauty of the red rocks. Every was friendly and made sure we are safe.

Location is awesome. Shops and wonderful restaurants are in walking distance. The hotel is hidden down a mountain so their are golf carts to bring you up to the street if the walk is too much for you.Out most of the day but to return to a comfortable bed and soft pillow with a luxurious robe was a perfect end of the day, Request an electric teapot to you can enjoy their specialty teas. Concierge was very helpful and engaged. Enjoyed exploring the property down by the river and the snoopy rock vista. The pool and hot tub was a bonus. The added events like star gazing evening and yoga morning were appreciated. The staff from valet to the concierge to wait staff were all kind and helpful. I would stay there again if the opportunity arises!
