My wife and I recently stayed at the Aiden and loved the hotel. Is this a 5 star resort? No. Is it clean, has friendly and helpful staff, well up kept, and has nice amenities? Yes. Would we stay there again? Definitely. The hotel was purchased by Best Western in the past few years and from my understanding it had some renovations. The staff is original (from before the purchase) and it is clear they are a family and take great pride in their jobs, the hotel, and the guest experience. Warm breakfast was a nice touch. I thought the spread was great, however my wife would have loved a non-sweetened yogurt option (they have vanilla yogurt, which is sweetened). We also loved it's location, it was centrally located so most of the trailheads that we went to for hiking were under a 10 minute drive away! Massage chairs in the meditation room are a nice touch too! The only thing I would have improved would have been the shower head, which was lacking. Would 100% stay here again!

“A great hotel to stay at”

Really great stay. Friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Loved the little balcony. Great for sunset photos. After checking out and checking into the Aiden Best Western in Scottsdale I realized I left my battery and battery charger for my Sony camera plugged in, in our room. They cost $120.00 new.… more

Really great stay. Friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Loved the little balcony. Great for sunset photos. After checking out and checking into the Aiden Best Western in Scottsdale I realized I left my battery and battery charger for my Sony camera plugged in, in our room. They cost $120.00 new. My wife called the hotel (the room was in her name) and spoke with Amber. Amber put us on hold for a minute, came back on and said she had it in her hand. The cleaning staff had promptly brought it to the lost & found box. Amber said she'd get it en route to us right away. What a pleasant surprise to find it on our front porch this morning. During out stay in Arizona we stayed at 3 different Aiden Best Westerns and each one was great. Again, a big thanks to Amber in Sedona and the staffs at all three BW's. We will be staying at Best Westerns in our future trips out west.

My sister and I spent 2 days/1 night in Sedona following a Grand Canyon hike. There are tons of nice hotels, but as a BW Rewards member, I look for BW hotels first. My budget and amenities wish list put me at the Aiden. I booked a 2 qn bd w/ red rocks view, and it did not disappoint. Hotel is a short drive from main Sedona shops and is stylishly updated and clean. After a long day of shopping, my sister and I checked in and went to dinner at Vino de Sedona, adjacent to the hotel parking lot (even has a 1-way gate from hotel's outdoor seating area to Vino's) and had a fabulous meal, wine and live music. It was open mic night, which was good and ... interesting. There are a few other eateries nearby, as well as a Circle K across the street. When we returned from dinner, unfortunately, the firepit is turned off at 10pm, which was a real disappointment. We did sit on our 2nd flr balcony instead to compensate. An included breakfast was a must, and theirs was delicious with super variety. I would expect the offerings may rotate, but on our stay, there were scrambled eggs, cheese omelets, hard boiled eggs, sausage links and patties, bagels, breads, muffins, croissants, fruits, cereals, yogurt, and even packaged cereal bars. Drinks included the usual coffee, hot water/tea, juices and milk. It's not a huge space, but the hotel made good use of the counters to provide lots of choices for their guests. Seating is inside, or there's a door to outside with umbrella covered tables. Overall, this was a great stay!

“Very excellent overall experience.”

The facility was immaculate, the staff was friendly and professional. Lonnie Lillie was very welcoming and shared the amenities, restaurants, and local tourist sites to visit. The grounds were very well kept and loved the patio area to eat or to relax around the fire pit.
