“Mixed experience”

Guests at Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center say: I had been looking forward to a nice stay at this Hilton after a long day of driving. I was disappointed in several ways: 1) There is no room service. 2) Check in was a bit painful and unwelcoming 3) The only restaurant is nice but very expensive. 4) There is no executive lounge 5) The furniture in the room was very worn. The restaurant situation was probably the biggest disappointment. I was tired, but hungry, so I decided to eat at the restaurant (and you have to make reservations via Open Table). I wanted something healthy and reasonably priced, but there was really nothing like that available. Entrees were mostly in the $40-$50 range. I paid $37 for a bowl of pasta. There are two things that I liked about the hotel. You could walk from the airport to the hotel, which was quite convenient after I'd turned in my rental car. The second good thing was the shuttle service. The driver was wonderfully helpful with my bags and other little details. Next time I will probably try another hotel in the same vicinity.
