We checked in a day late due to our flight being cancelled and let them know ahead of time, they were very helpful so ensure we still had a room to arrive to. Rooms were very large and had everything you would need (we had no luggage as the airline lost it so couldn’t use the wardrobe or drawers!) Hotel was very clean and quiet overall. Bus stop outside hotel that takes you into city centre. $2 for a single or $4 for day ticket. Safety deposit box is large enough for all valuables. I travel with camera equipment and fitted with ease.

“Clean and quiet.”

We stayed for just 12 hours, but it was a great experience. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good. Although our view faced the highway, the room was surprisingly quiet. The pictures on the website accurately reflect what you get. The location is convenient, close to all attractions.

It seems your stay had both pros and cons, but the negatives clearly impacted your overall experience. Pros:    •   Great location, with close proximity to food and attractions.    •   Quiet environment, which is always a plus for getting rest.    •   Clean facilities.    •   Free parking, which is convenient and saves on extra costs. Cons:    •   The food bar was poorly stocked, with old fruit and limited choices, indicating a lack of attention to freshness and variety.    •   Maintenance issues, like the toilet not flushing properly due to the handle not being attached, were frustrating. It’s concerning that the desk staff was already aware of the issue but hadn’t addressed it, which suggests a lack of care or attention to guest comfort. These kinds of problems, particularly when known issues go unresolved, can definitely affect the quality of a stay.

Decent stay, but place was exceptionally boring. Absolutely no frills. Not even a computer to use, which seems to be in virtually every other place we've stayed. Somebody mentioned a fitness center. Decent stay, but place was exceptionally boring. Absolutely no frills. Not even a computer to use, which seems to be in virtually every other place we've stayed. Somebody mentioned a fitness center. Not here. Room and bed were comfortable, and the TV worked well. Location seems a bit isolated from the main parts of town, so it is essential to have a car. Somebody mentioned walking to Fisherman's Wharf. Seemed like a 10-minute car ride to get near there and to the Aquarium (which was excellent but incredibly expensive and crowded). Also, a car ride to the main drag, Aldorado St., where there are some cool places to eat and shop. Kudos to the Peet's coffee place with outdoor seating at an outdoor bar with great beer. Breakfast was pretty minimal- eggs, no potatoes, (sausages which I don't eat), weak coffee, OJ, nothing spectacular. Did I mention that the place was expensive. We spent an equal amount of time in Santa Cruz Hyatt for half the price and included was all the things that were missing here (along with a pool).
