“Great customer service. Thank you Terrance!”
It was my birthday and I felt like nothing was going right because I didn’t like the room we got out in but Terrence really saved the day he did everything he could to make sure he turned the day around and help us upgrade our room. He was so very kind.

“Island Resort Music Man”
Best DJ, shout out Jet!! Kept all entertained with trivia and music. Very upbeat, enjoyed the pools, food and surroundings. Located on Pearl White beaches on Fort Walton, enjoying the sun and warm temperatures. All should check this place out.

“When you have the opportunity , be King of the The Island!”

We arrived on 3/7 to The Island Resort and immediately were greeted with a lobby bustling with excitement and energy. We traveled to Ft. Walton Beach for a cheer competition and have been looking forward to this beach vacation for months. Upon walking into the lobby, you are greeted with a wonderful scent of what can best be described as paradise. The staff made quick work of the line and check-in was a breeze. This brings me to the highlight of our check-in… King. Mr. King welcomed our party with a big smile and an amazing attitude. For a family that has been blessed to travel to Disney, the Caribbean, the Smoky Mountains, and quite a few other locations, few people have been as delightful and willing to accommodate as King. We arrived and of course our girls wanted to be near each other on this trip, which frankly creates memories that cannot be purchased. King worked diligently all weekend to make this trip magical for our girls and do his best to put them in a winning mindset. He was so kind and diligent, I would put him among the best we’ve experienced including resorts such as Disney’s Resorts Polynesian Resort, Sandal’s Grand St. Lucia, and many more. If you ever have the opportunity to make someone’s trip better, be like King of The Island.

“Reflections of God”
Gabby was excellent in handling a terrible first experience with an auditor name Stephanie. She apologized, moved quickly and went above to make sure our stay was exceptional. The weather turned out great and we had a great view of the ocean!

“Getaway weekend”
Stayed here for our anniversary and unfortunately the weather was bad great amenities and great staff. King helped us check in and gave us an upgrade to a gulf room for our anniversary! King had such a wonderful presence and got us so excited for our stay!
