Very nice hotel and staff. Located in a nice area. Clean. Room thoughtfully designed with very large desk (white top so you can see your stuff !), pull out luggage rack that holds two suitcases, sliding door between sink area and sleeping area. Could use better lighting, especially around mirror for makeup. They give you a bottle of water at check in and there is a water dispenser in the lobby which is so helpful. Hotel is very close (walking distance) to good restaurants, shops. There is a restaurant on the premises but better options exist just a block or two away. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great location, but do hear a lot of street noise (though no trains!). Room is standard Courtyard.... though would really have liked some shelving around the sink since there was little countertop. Separate toilet/shower area- decent size but absolutely NO water pressure- thankfully hot water seemed plentiful as I had to stand under the weak spray for a long time to rinse! Bed was comfy, good bedside reading lights, large desk with desk lamp to work at. Lounge area was nicely set up, but breakfast was a disappointment-- $$$ for meh food. Should have gone elsewhere but was trying to eat before hitting the wineries....

We visit the area frequently to visit family and usually stay here or the Hyatt across the street. I didn't book the Hyatt this time because of their junk fees for parking and amenities that used to be included with the price. I was surprised to learn that I am now being charged for parking here also. I was not informed at time of booking nor at check-in. This is not SF and it is wrong to be charging people to park in my opinion and I do not stay at such places if I can avoid it. Most places here do not charge a parking fee. One morning, the Friday after Thanksgiving, we found that there was water dripping down from the ceiling into our room. There was a leak in the room above us. It was leaking from near the fire sprinkler nozzle in the bathroom. They quickly got that under control. But the next night we were awakened by an earsplitting siren in the room at 1:30 a.m. It is designed so you must evacuate or go deaf. We all went outside and back in the lobby where no employees were present or telling the guests anything. The fire department showed up and they cleared the alarm and said we could return to our rooms, it was a false alarm. This could have been handled better by staff. I see another review mentioning poor response to emergencies. This is a clean and comfortable place to stay and the service is fine. The location is good for us. I just cannot get over the parking fees. How much did they spend installing automatic gates, and what's the payback period for that? Why nickel and dime your guests with junk fees? How soon before you raise it to $20?
