“I LOVE this HOTEL”

It My First Time staying at a Hotel in the US The room is so clean and spacious. The Front desk, bellman, valet team were very helpful. Staff workers such as Luis, Emerson, and George made this experience very memorable, would suggest to family and friends. Thank you for the hospitality.

The Sandbourne Marriott is the most beautiful, cool, modern hotel in Santa Monica. Not only did my wedding guests from across the country stay here, they were well taken care of and have raved about the time they had at Sandbourne. We also had our wedding welcome party here and the staff was very accommodating and communicative in the planning process. The hotel staff was genuinely friendly and nice at every level. With beautiful new architecture and a pool with ocean views of the iconic Santa Monica beach, you can't go wrong!

We recently visited this beautiful hotel for a 4 day anniversary adventure. Hotel is well kept & very clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was simple and easy. We had a king room which was great for what we needed. We spent every day taking in something new. Beds were fairly comfortable. The feather pillows were not. We asked for new pillows on night two…. Rev’d 2 foam pillows…. They too, were not great. No bottled water in our room, but the front desk was happy to supply a bottle upon request. Once Friday rolled around, more families checked into the hotel. A fair amount of noise from the people (kids) walking / running down the hallways. Service in Marelle (restaurant) was something to be desired. Friendly waitstaff but on average it took 20-30 minutes before they acknowledged you after being seated. We learned after our first visit, to place our entire order the first time they came to our table or it would have been another 20-30 minutes before they came back. We witnessed many people complaining and searching for wait staff. Are more staff required at peak hours such as breakfast, lunch and dinner? A simple hello…..I’ll be right with you….. may have gone a long way. Food was good, but very overpriced. Hotel is in perfectly situated for access to the beach and pier… a mere 8-10 minute walk until you’re on the pier. An enjoyable visit to Santa Monica. One place off our bucket list.

Pros: -catering desserts - cookies and lemon bars are delicious - and a decent selection of beers -cleaning staff great - kind and thorough -spacious rooms with cool design and colors -commendable gym relative to hotel size including a large yoga studio, foam roller, and ample machines for weights -stellar location and easy to beach Cons -room attn to detail. Found two bees in one of my rooms - one dead and one alive. I think this was because some of the doors face directly outside so they can slip through the door crack -doors have a lot of empty space between door and carpet - so you can hear folks outside easily. -pillows are terrible and offer next to no support
