“Nice choice for a Santa Cruz experience”
Very good location and AJ at the front desk was very friendly and helpful to my daughter who was traveling solo so it was also a safe spot to stay I. Downtown Santa Cruz. The proximity to the Boardwalk was also great and there is a great deli right next door

“Basic motel, competently run.”
Everything about this basic motel worked. The breakfast was particularly good because of the many choices. Hot waffles! Fairly good coffee, fruit, pastries and yogurt, toast, Muffins. The room was very clean, and basic amenities supplied, and there was a small refrigerator.

“You get a good stay for the price you pay.”
For the price you pay, you get a good stay. The hotel has all the amenities you need in the room and a good pool for kids to splash around in. “Average”
We paid through the nose for one night, but I think that's because the Ironman was going on that weekend. Pros: easy to get to, free parking, free breakfast, restaurants within walking distance. Cons: a charmless part of Ocean St., not near the beach or boardwalk. It is fine for a basic stay and me… more
