I stayed here for three nights with co-workers as our we have a facility in Valencia and this was suggested by local staff. Overall, I had a great experience at this Courtyard Marriott, from the front desk staff to the people at the bistro. Our company has a corporate rate which includes breakfast. My two queen bedroom was surprisingly spacious but it was a bit cramped next to the second bed chair/ottoman. If this was a family staying here, it may be a bit cramped. There is a refrigerator as well as microwave and coffee pot. The bathroom had a shower stall with a glass door. Other rooms had the bathtub/shower curtain combo, so need to ask if you want something specific. There is also ample on-site parking and not too far from the entrance. The gym was small with two treadmills, a bike and a few pieces of weights/bench. There is an outdoor pool but did not have time to use it. Since breakfast was included we did have breakfast there. Items can be a bit pricy as I had oatmeal and a cranberry juice which cam to almost $19. It opens at 6am but depending who is there it may be 6:05 or 6:10am, for those who have an early breakfast. Had dinner there one night and the Mediterranean Grain bowl was tasty and not bad at $18 plus tip. There are lots of other restaurants/shopping within two miles of the property.

This is in a prime location for Six Flags Magic Mountain. It’s clean and I think you’d be happy staying here whether it’s with family or by yourself passing through. Room was modern and very clean - no complaints there. I checked in early due to a change with a flight and there was no hesitation with the front desk about accomodating this. Bed was comfortable, pillows good and air conditioner brilliant. Bathroom looked a little more dated than the room but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. The shower gets my tick of approval as it’s a walk in shower and not one of those bathtub showers. There’s a bistro and bar also. I got dinner from the bistro one night during my visit and unfortunately it was a mistake. Food was bland and slapped together and the staff operating the bistro and bar had zero personality or interest being there. There’s a mall a short Uber ride away with ample food and shopping. Overall a nice experience and better than I expected.

“Good Stop”

Nice easy access from the freeway. Very clean and nice. Staff made check in easy. Breakfast was a little pricey, but it's California. The room was well appointed and quiet. The bed was comfortable and had a good variety of pillows. Would stay here again.

Overall, I had a nice experience at this Courtyard Marriott. All of the front desk staff were wonderful (especially Marsha): helpful, courteous, and professional. My king room was surprisingly spacious (en-suite plus a separate sitting room with full wet bar) and clean, including the bathroom. I did not have a chance to use the outdoor pool but it looked large and well maintained from my room. There is also ample on-site parking. The sole negative experience was with the cashier at the breakfast bistro. This person refused to take my order (and sent away other guests on line) because of an apparent glitch with the cash register’s computer system. The kitchen itself was still fully functional, and just prior to the malfunction, the cashier had offered to bill another guest’s order to his room. I asked if the cashier could give my order to the kitchen and just bill it to my room once the cash register was restored, and the person looked at me, dumbfounded, and repeated (rudely), “I can’t take orders because the system is down.” No attempt to offer a solution, and no problem-solving skills; the most pathetic interaction I’ve had with anyone in a customer service role in quite some time. Having hot on-site breakfast so you don’t have to go sit in traffic for 15 minutes to get it elsewhere is one of this hotel’s biggest perks, so hopefully they correct this personnel problem in the near future.
