“Good enough hotel for the price.”

Hotel was better than expected. From the outside, hotel seems older and very simple. I was worried from 1st impression. Yes, guests at Quality Inn University Near Downtown have highlighted that: Hotel was better than expected. From the outside, hotel seems older and very simple. I was worried from 1st impression. I needed to find a hotel for the Labor Day weekend that was not expensive but descent. For no more than $260 for 2 nights, I can say that I was very pleased. Hotel room was clean. I chose 1st floor, non smoking. We had a fridge and a microwave, which was very helpful. Breakfast was included. Some reviews complain about not having waffles. But how can I complain when I has free eggs, sausage patties, cereal, bagels, toasted bread, sweet bread, diff fruit yogurt, milk, coffee, orange and Apple juice, etc. This is a great breakfast in my opinion. The pool is smaller than I thought, and nobody seemed to want to get in it. Not sure if it was cleaned enough to swim in it, but the sitting area was decent enough to sit and relax. Sunday night we took out our bbq pit and decided to have a nice bbq dinner by the pool and listened to some music and have some drinks. Overall, the stay was excellent. I had my 18 month old twins, and my husband. Felt very safe. Another couple also stayed in the same hotel and they were very pleased. Would recommend it. Front desk service was pleasant.
