“Purple Palms Resort and Spa, Kushalnagar Coorg.”

Dropped in for lunch to this Resort recently to have lunch. Awsome place, and their food in the restaurant was very good. The Resort had very good ambience but the food was exceptional. A must visit place if you are on a road trip to Coorg.

The hotel Facilites are good, staff are friendly specially Abdelatif, he made our days feels great. The beach full of life creatures, snorkeling at the south and north reefs is amazing. Turtles are easily spotted

Enjoyed a wonderful eight day vacation. We stayed in Villa 1001 and were attended by three butlers. Each one of them provided excellent service. Specifically would like to recognize Ana, Aldo and Eugenia. They all worked to ensure our visit was enjoyable, fulfilled various requests and followed up accordingly. The staff at this resort and level of service was suoerb. Unfortunately, nature has eroded the beach. Most is not swimmable due to rock, coral and seaweed. There is a pleasant beach in The Palms section of the property. Crystal clear water but quite shallow. There restaurants and food selections were all very good. Highly recommend Me Casa, Italian restaurant. Lasagna was delicious as were a number of other selections. Both of our waiters (wish I could recall their names) were very good. Bar staff (Alicia) and restaurant/pool service (Manuel) were always friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was stellar. I do not recall the name of our evening attendant who handled turn down service. Would like to acknowledge him for his good work. There were several things that did not go so well that should be mentioned in this review: 1. The electricity went out on five consecutive days during our stay. Sometimes twice a day. It was reported but continued to recurr. 2. On arrival, the upstairs bedroom was very hot. The A.C. had not been turned on in anticipation of our arrival. Thankfully it cooled after about thirty minutes or so. 3. Breaking bills was very difficult. Recommend bringing at least 75 singles as exchanging money in the main lobby is a problem. 4. Our villa had a Jacuzzi tub outside. Unfortunately the jets never worked to where one could enjoy it. The Jacuzzi tub in the master bath had a similar problem and took almost 45 minutes to fill. Again, these items were reported but never really resolved. 5. The bedroom is luxurious but the mattress itself needed to be turned/flipped. There was quite a notable depression on one side. We took turns sleeping in it so the other could get a restful sleep. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
